Videotron’s Fizz Mobile has brought back its 25% off ‘Discovery’ discount, but it is only available for a very limited time.
Currently, the discount is available in Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba, B.C., and Quebec, where customers finally get the Discovery discount after being left out of the last one. Also, unlike last time, the discount now lasts for 24 months.
Now, Fizz’s plans are a little different from most providers’ in that you can tweak and customize them to your liking, including options like coverage (provincial, national, CAN/US), 4G or 5G, international calling, and more. Here are some of the common plan options with the discount below:
- 10GB 4G Canada-wide with unlimited texts, unlimited minutes, and voicemail: $20.25/mo
- 20GB 4G Canada-wide with unlimited texts, unlimited minutes, and voicemail: $22.50/mo
- 40GB 5G Canada-wide with unlimited texts, unlimited minutes and voicemail: $26.25/mo
- 100GB 5G Canada-wide with unlimited texts, unlimited minutes, and voicemail: $29.25/mo
- 40GB Canada + USA coverage with unlimited texts, unlimited minutes, and voicemail: $27.75/mo
- 100GB Canada + USA coverage with unlimited texts, unlimited minutes, and voicemail: $30.75/mo
Notably, the Discovery discount applies automatically to your bill every month for 24 months starting on the day that you activate your SIM card. If you change your plan, the discount will still apply for whatever remains of the 24-month period. Once the 24 months are up, the plan will return to its regular price.
This discount was previously available only a few weeks ago, but it has been brought back again for a very limited time, with the deal ending tomorrow (March 31) — so I recommend getting it while you can.
