Flavor Flav Starts GoFundMe For Team USA Women’s Hockey Victory Party

Shortly after Flavor Flav announced his desire to throw a party for the U.S. women’s hockey team in Las Vegas after they declined an invitation to the White House by President Donald Trump, the rapper jumped into action to make sure this party is the best.

After putting out a call for help to get the team to Vegas and host them for an epic celebration, Flavor Flav went one step further and launched a GoFundMe campaign to help raise money to ensure it’s a party no one will soon forget.

Thursday morning, Flavor Flav began the GoFundMe campaign and in just a few short hours, it’s already raised nearly $10,000 of the $50,000 goal.

“Flavor Flav, the legendary rapper and Hollywood personality, has long been a champion for U.S. Olympic athletes. This year, he’s stepping up in a big way to spotlight the achievements of women in sport by helping fund and celebrate them,” the GoFundMe description begins.

“After the United States women’s Olympic hockey team won gold at the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, Flav took to social media to offer something he called a ‘real celebration’ in Las Vegas. He personally invited the players to dinners, shows, and events to honor their accomplishment in a big way.”

The campaign’s description continues, “Your generosity will ensure these athletes are properly celebrated in Las Vegas and receive meaningful financial support for their futures. Please join us in honoring these incredible women and ensuring they get the recognition and resources they deserve. Every contribution helps make this celebration possible and provides lasting impact for the athletes who inspire us all.”

Three hours after the rapper began the fundraiser, there are already nearly 200 donations, with the largest being $500 from multiple people.

If things continue to move along the way they have in the first three hours of the fundraiser, it appears Flavor Flav will reach his intended goal in no time. One might even assume that goal will be exceeded!

Flavor Flav shared a video on IG saying he wants to go “bigger and better.”

“I want to bring all United States female Olympians and Paralympians, the ones that won medals. Also, all my USA bobsled and Skeleton athletes,” he said. “I’m your official sponsor and hype man, remember that, and I got you guys covered.”

He continued to explain that he’s throwing a big party and all Olympians are invited. Many dropped into the comments to offer something to help Flavor Flav’s plan.

The City of Las Vegas shared, “Mayor Berkley would love to meet them and welcome them to Las Vegas!” Famous burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese wrote, “With absolute pleasure, we will welcome those interested our elegantly risqué show.” T-Mobile Arena asked, “We know a thing or two about celebrating champions. Victory lap at our place?” The Palms simply said, “GO ALL IN.” Sprouts grocery store asked, “How can we help?!” Singer Lance Bass asked, “Yes! What do you need?? I’m there!”

Around the same time the GoFundMe launched, Flavor Flav took to Instagram to share some big news about the celebration.

“FLAVOR FLAV::: WOOWWW,, Thrilled I gets to partner with @mgmresortsintl as the host for the SHE GOT GAME weekend July 16-19 in Las Vegas,” he wrote in his caption. “More info coming soon as I work with MGM to bring to life an epic party for our USA athletes.”

The official IG page of Vegas wrote, “Who’s ready to puck around and have some fun!” Absinthe, a show on the Strip wrote, “Spicy circus treatment secured for our Olympian queens.” Ramsay’s Kitchen shared, “We’ll start prepping those Wellingtons and Sticky Toffee Puddings.” Simply Fuel offered, “YES!! We want to provide all these BALLSY BALLERS with our protein balls! We are women-owned and have donated to @womenssportsfoundation every year since 2023 as our main charity. We LOVE this!!”

Flavor Flav posted his original invite on Monday on X, formerly known as Twitter, after the women declined the trip to Washington, D.C.

“If the USA Women’s Hockey team wants a real celebration and invite, I’ll host them in Las Vegas,” he wrote. “Do some nice dinners and shows and good times. I’m sure I can get a hotel and airline to help me out here and celebrate these women for real for real.”

And so the planning began and in just a few short days, it’s really taken off. We can’t wait to see how it all turns out. If any city is ready for this celebration, it’s certainly Las Vegas.
