Fox & Friends‘ Lawrence Jones Was Announced As A Permanent Co-Host Back In 2023
Jones is a political commentator and a graduate of the University of North Texas. In 2018, he became the editor-in-chief of Campus Reform.
Many, however, know Jones best for his work with Fox News. In 2023, he was announced as a permanent co-host on Fox & Friends. He previously hosted Lawrence Jones Cross Country.
Recently, fans became worried for Jones after he appeared to be absent from the show. However, he has since sent out an update on social media.
Taking to X, Jones started things out by assuring fans he was currently okay. He wrote, “Hey fam! I want to assure y’all that I’m doing well.”
Jones then explained that he recently underwent a medical treatment, but fans should expect to see him back on their screens soon. He continued, “I recently underwent eye surgery and will be returning to work soon.”

However, Jones did not get into the specifics of what happened. He added, “I’ll share the details of my experience with you all in the future.”
As Jones finished the post, he shared a bit of his faith with fans. He wrote, “God is truly remarkable. Fox has been incredibly supportive throughout this process, ensuring that I receive the best possible care. See y’all soon.”

Fans previously shared their concern for Jones after seeing he was absent from the show earlier this week. In a post shared on January 20, it was noted that there was no “on-air” explanation for his absence. However, it was also noted that Fox did not share news of any permanent changes to the show at the time, either.
Following Jones’ recent share, many fans also took to social media and shared that they were grateful for the update. A few fans also wanted to let Jones know that they were keeping him in their prayers. Some comments included:
