We sat down with French director Géraldine Nakache to talk about Think Good, her Cannes Première entry at the 79th Cannes Film Festival that marks a striking shift from the warmth and humour of her earlier films into the territory of psychological control, hidden domestic violence and emotional manipulation. Led by Monia Chokri and Niels Schneider, the film combines psychological tension with a carefully constructed visual world of glass, water, rituals and surveillance-like spaces.
