After reports spread far and wide last week of the Pixel 10 featuring a weird screen glitch, Google has confirmed to Android Authority that it’s working on a fix.
The glitch briefly filled the screen of some phones with static that people are calling “snow.” It seems limited to the Pixel 10 as well, with no reports coming in for the problem on the Pro variants.
The publication says this update has been rolling out since September 3, so most should have it now. The changelog doesn’t mention the static/snow screen, but it does say there’s a “fix for issue with screen turning black during transitions from a webpage in the in-app browser under certain conditions.” This is supposedly the same bug.
Let us know below if you’ve gotten the update and are still having issues.
