Guy Fieri is famous for his bombastic personality and signature look. However, in celebration of a special day, he recently showed off a whole new look with fans. That said, the Food Network star might have had a little help to achieve his new look.
Guy Fieri Showcased A Shocking, New Look
Fieri is a television personality and restaurateur. Starting his career by co-owning restaurants in California, he has since gone on to license his name to eateries throughout the world.
Many know Fieri best through his Food Network shows after winning the second season of The Next Food Network Star. These include shows like Guy’s Big Bite, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, and Ultimate Recipe Showdown.
On January 22, Fieri shared a video with his fans. This was in honor of his 58th birthday. That said, Fieri didn’t look like his usual self, with him captioning the video, “New Year. New Guy. New Look.”
Normally, fans see him with spiked, bleached-blond hair and all sorts of flashy clothes. This time, however, he appeared clean-shaven with short brown hair. He was also dressed much more casually than usual, sporting a checked button-up shirt and khaki pants.
Standing beside a birthday cake, Fieri shared, “Hey there. After so many years of celebrating my birthday as Guy, I figured this year, I’d celebrate it as just a guy. Happy birthday to me,” before blowing out his candles.
Notably, Fieri’s thumbnail was also updated to show off this new look. Fieri also shared his new appearance in a few Instagram stories.
Many Fans Reacted To Fieri’s New Look, All While Wishing Him A Happy Birthday
Naturally, many people shared their surprise at seeing a more laid-back Fieri. Even his own son, Hunter, took to the comments to ask, “Dad… when did you start selling insurance?”
Bar Rescue host Jon Taffer also teased, “Now you’re perfectly undercover to do recon on Bar Rescue! Happy Birthday, enjoy!!”
While Fieri didn’t directly confirm it at the time, many noted that he appeared to use AI to generate his new look. Taking to the comments, many fans also shared other figures Fieri now reminded them of.
Of course, many fans also just wanted to wish the star a happy birthday. Some comments included:
