‘Hardest Part’ Of Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban’s Divorce Exposed

After nineteen years of marriage, the “Big Little Lies” alum legally ended the union with the country singer in late September. In the filing, Kidman requested to be designated as the primary residential parent of their two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

Less than a month later, new reports have shed light on how Kidman is dealing with the situation, acknowledging that she’s facing some challenges along the way.

While Kidman has accepted the separation and is moving ahead, things haven’t been entirely smooth. A source revealed that the actress is struggling to balance her new reality with her two girls.

“The hardest part is navigating the dynamic with their daughters,” the insider shared, adding, “The last thing Nicole wanted was a broken family.” Despite the emotional challenges, Kidman is choosing to remain strong and set a good example for her children.

The informant told US Magazine that the “Babygirl” actress is adjusting to her new reality and plans to “focus on creating new traditions with her daughters and keeping their home life as steady and loving as possible.” 

As for how she’s coping post-split, the individual noted that Kidman is in “a good headspace,” pointing out that she and Urban had already been living apart before their public announcement. 

The informant added that for the “Paddington” star, “this next chapter feels more like a transition than a shock,” amid reports that she was blindsided by Urban’s decision to end things. 

While Kidman may be experiencing setbacks post-breakup, she has been candid about how she has learned to deal with tough situations courageously.

As The Blast reported, Kidman explained in a recent interview that, as she’s grown older, she has learned from past challenges, which now help her handle new difficulties with greater confidence.

Even when she encounters something unfamiliar, she can reflect on what she’s learned from former experiences to reassure herself that she will overcome it.

She added that she believes there is always a way forward, no matter the circumstances, before admitting how much pain comes with the hard moments.

As sources claim that Kidman is finding it hard to navigate a new parenting dynamic, questions remain about whether she and Urban could ever rekindle their relationship.

While nothing is certain, an insider suggested that the 58-year-old actress hasn’t completely closed the door on the possibility.

“She would get back with him in a heartbeat,” an insider said of Kidman as The Blast reported, adding that she was caught off guard by how it ended.

According to the individual, the couple had been facing problems in their marriage but were actively working to resolve them and reconcile. However, Urban’s sudden choice to pull the plug came as a complete shock to Kidman.

Notwithstanding the difficulties of the breakup, Kidman has displayed remarkable strength and composure, appearing publicly several times in recent weeks, signaling that she’s coping well.

On October 4, Kidman attended amfAR’s Dallas auction in Texas, where she took the stage to present her “Lioness” collaborator, Taylor Sheridan, with the night’s Award of Inspiration.

Just two days later, she was spotted in Paris for Fashion Week, joined by her girls. Kidman has also made a quiet return to social media with a recent photo of herself wearing a black shirt designed in an image from Gus Van Sant’s film To Die For to celebrate the movie’s 30th anniversary.

Meanwhile, Urban, on the other hand, is doing all he can to make fans stop attributing the separation to the reason for changing the lyrics to his 2002 hit song “You’ll Think of Me.”

Per The Blast, during his October 17 concert in Nashville, Urban told fans to stop overanalyzing his performances saying, “I’ve been covering like this for a long time. Stop reading sh-t into it.”

 He then performed the song, tweaking the lines “Take your space and take your reasons” to “Take your space and all your bullsh-t reasons,” and “But you’ll think of me,” to “But I betcha think about me.”
