The official list of nominees for the 46th Golden Raspberry Awards has been announced to celebrate and ridicule the worst examples of filmmaking from 2025, which were torn apart by the critics and mocked endlessly on social media.
The latest re-telling of H.G. Wells’s book War of the Worlds and Disney’s live-action remake of their first animated feature sweeping the nominations, and father and daughter Sylvester Stallone and Scarlett Rose Stallone earning Razzie nods for their separate performances in the action genre.
Ice Cube has fallen from the grace of his hip-hop days through Rich Lee’s poorly received adaptation of War of the Worlds, which leads the Razzie nominations with a total of six nods, tying with the deeply controversial Disney live-action remake of Snow White by Marc Webb. Trey Edward Shults‘s Hurry Up Tomorrow, the meta-fictional account of R&B superstar The Weeknd’s life and fame, which became a meme on TikTok, and Star Trek Section 31 take the second spot with five nominations. Anthony and Josh Russo come at the bottom of the scoreboard with their futuristic sci-fi, The Electric State, starring Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt and Ke Huy Quan, with three Razzies up for grabs.
Cash-grab sequels, remakes and tired adaptations also appear among the Tron and Star Trek franchises and the horror genre.
