Inside Bella Hadid’s Mysterious Health Fight

For weeks, Bella Hadid seemed to vanish from the spotlight, leaving fans confused about her absence from runways and Instagram.

Now, shocking images and insider revelations have surfaced, exposing her time inside a controversial German clinic that uses radical treatments, including “rectal therapy” and extreme hyperthermia.

The story raises as many questions as it answers about the model’s mysterious health battle.

Wired to machines and clinging to her mother, Yolanda, Bella looked a world away from her glamorous catwalk persona.

“You have fought through another month of treatment and I know god is good, miracles do happen everyday,” Yolanda wrote in a heartfelt caption. “I pray for your speedy recovery my love. This disease has brought us to our knees, but we always get back up. We will continue to fight for better days, together.”

Bella spent a month at St George Hospital, a facility known for treating Lyme disease patients with radical procedures.

According to the clinic, more than 800 patients have been “successfully treated,” though experts remain skeptical. The hospital uses whole body hyperthermia, raising a patient’s temperature to 107°F for several hours under sedation.

“Bella is said to have had two rounds, one week apart,” an insider revealed to the Daily Mail.

She also underwent antibiotics, Chelation therapy, peptide infusions, and was photographed with an apheresis catheter in her neck. However, controversy surrounds the methods.

The hospital also offers ozone therapy “intravenous and/or rectally,” alongside colon cleanses and detox footbaths.

These treatments can cost more than $100,000 and carry risks ranging from heart complications to seizures.

For Yolanda, sparing no expense for her daughter’s recovery is non-negotiable.

“Yolanda is a strict parent but it’s in her best interests,” an insider said. “Bella going to Germany was most likely Yolanda’s idea and her pushing her to go there for treatment and take time off from work to get better.”

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum has long leaned toward holistic approaches.

“She and the Hadids have a lot of money so they’re open to experimenting and doing treatments in other countries that are not FDA approved,” the insider added. “They go to these insanely expensive doctors, want the best treatment and are willing to pay whatever they need to get it, especially for Bella – Yolanda doesn’t want to see her suffer like she did.”

Yolanda has also battled Lyme disease herself, along with Bella’s younger brother Anwar.

Still, the diagnosis of “chronic Lyme” remains contested in the medical community, with critics pointing to a lack of scientific evidence.

Doctors warn that so-called “chronic Lyme” is not universally recognized.

Professor Hany Elsheikha of the University of Nottingham told the Daily Mail, “Chronic Lyme disease is not recognized or widely accepted by the medical establishment – it’s still very controversial. It’s a condition that sits in a grey area. But because people are really desperate, misinformation spreads like wildfire.”

Research shows that many patients who believe they have chronic Lyme test negative for infection.

Instead, symptoms could point to other illnesses, from severe vitamin deficiencies to autoimmune disorders or even long COVID.

Bella herself has spoken openly about her symptoms, including joint pain, nausea, headaches, memory loss, and exhaustion, which derailed her equestrian career.

“Every day I feel at least 10 of these attributes without fail… since I was probably 14, but more aggressively when I turned 18,” she admitted on Instagram in 2020.

Despite weeks of invasive therapy, Bella left St George’s hospital with renewed hope.

According to insiders, she even wanted to hire one of the nurses she bonded with during treatment.

She later apologized for being “MIA,” posting to fans before strutting at Paris Fashion Week for Yves Saint Laurent.

When asked online if she would disclose details of her treatments, she replied, “I will soon – just gaining the energy.”

The insider also shared that Bella and her mom did well to share pictures of her in the hospital, noting, “Bella, especially, is in the spotlight all the time. She wouldn’t want the public to think she had disappeared for any other reason like drugs or rehab or plastic surgery.”
