It’s recently been announced that The Kelly Clarkson Show is coming to an end. Since then, insiders have teased what fans can expect from the American Idol winner. In particular, they teased something that could really pay off for Clarkson, as well as what’s most important to her.
The Kelly Clarkson Show Is Expected To End With The Seventh Season
Clarkson first rose to fame after winning the first season of American Idol. This helped the Texas-native launch a successful career as a musician, selling over 28 million albums worldwide.
However, Clarkson has multiple jobs that have returned her to her television roots, such as serving as a coach on The Voice. In 2019, she also became the host of her own eponymous talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Through the years, the show has made changes, like switching filming locations from Los Angeles to Manhattan. However, it’s been announced that the seventh season would be its last, with episodes airing through Fall 2026.
Since this time, fans have been wondering what could be next for Clarkson. Recently, insiders have teased what she’s got planned/ In particular, they’ve suggested that some of her new endeavors could really pay off.
Clarkson’s Next Venture Could Be Pretty ‘Lucrative,’ Something Else Comes ‘First’
According to Radar Online, one source shared that Clarkson enjoyed the hosting aspect of her talk show. However, she didn’t like managing a large staff and having to make hundreds of decisions a day. They also highlighted how she took off from her Las Vegas residency and her talk show to help support her ex, Brandon Blackstock, before his death in August.
The sources claimed that this makes a return to music all the more appealing for Clarkson. They shared, “Recording and performing her [music] is a much more manageable and family-friendly pursuit.” They also suggested that Clarkson will want to stay in one place, noting that her Las Vegas residency, which is set for July, will allow her to perform without “all the annoyances of touring.”
As the insider noted, this could really pay off for Clarkson. Calling the opportunity “lucrative,” they noted that this will give the American Idol alum a chance to sell merch and tickets, as well as test new songs. As the outlet stated, “This is the right move for Kelly.”
However, the source felt that, “As with everything else, family is going to come first.” In other words, they also believe that Clarkson will use the time away from the television studio to spend time with her loved ones.
That said, Clarkson won’t be away from the small screen for too long. She is currently part of Season 29 of The Voice, coaching alongside John Legend and Adam Levine.
