Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos posed up a storm as they attended an Oscars Party, but the 56-year-old public figure was caught shooing her husband away from her side so she could get some solo shots.
The couple is expected to grace the Met Gala later this year, after emerging as one of the event’s major sponsors.

Lauren Sanchez and her husband, Jeff Bezos, were quite the couple to beat as they attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party looking dapper in black ensembles.
The Amazon founder attended the event, which was held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, wearing a black suit with a white button-up shirt and black bow tie. On her part, Sanchez wore a strapless black gown that had glittery embellishments from the hip and thigh-high slits.
She threw on a pair of tights, chunky heels, and adorned herself with diamond accessories. She packed her black hair into a sculpted updo, leaving a few strands loose to frame her face.
As they walked the red carpet, the couple posed for photos while holding hands lovingly. However, Sanchez was then caught on camera gesturing to Bezos to go out of the frame so that she could pose alone, which he obliged.

Meanwhile, many fans took to social media to not only point out Sanchez’s cheeky gesture to her husband, but also what many say is Bezos’ “different” look.
One person wrote, “Poor Jeff,” while a second commented, “She’s such a f-cking diva.”
“[She] pushed him out of the way,” a third person wrote on X, while another noted, “Money can’t buy class.”
One harsh critic slammed the couple, stating, “These 2 are the worst of humanity! Shouldn’t even be there, useless, talentless, and gross!”
Amid the criticism, several praised Sanchez for her influence on Bezos.
“Okay, but they actually look so good together,” an X user wrote, while another added, “I’m sorry, but they ate this look up.”
“When you show up to the Oscars like you just bought the red carpet… and probably could,” someone else said, seemingly referencing Sanchez and Bezos’ wealth.

Lauren Sanchez Speaks On Her Upcoming Met Gala Gig
Sanchez and Bezos are fast becoming Hollywood’s must-have party guests, as they’re expected to also attend the Met Gala on May 4 after footing much of the bill for the event.
This year’s dress code is “fashion is art,” which will serve as an anchor for guests against the event’s overall theme of “costume art.”
The children’s book author recently weighed in on her and her husband’s upcoming Met Gala appearance, where they’ll serve as honorary chairs, per the Daily Mail.
“It has been such a fun and meaningful experience, and when Anna [Wintour] called me and said, ‘Do you want to co-chair and also be the sponsors of the Met?’ I was so honored,” she said. “And then she told me the theme, fashion is art. And these designers are true artists.”
However, it hasn’t come without some sort of controversy, with Anna Wintour having to address the criticism in a November interview with CNN.
Wintour explained that Sanchez is a “great lover of costume and obviously of fashion,” and that she believes she would be a “wonderful asset to the museum and the event.”
“We’re very grateful for her incredible generosity,” Wintour continued. “So we’re thrilled she’s part of the night.”

Away from fashion, Sanchez recently looked back at her Venetian wedding to Bezos and spoke about the reason she started “bawling” happy tears.
The couple walked down the aisle in June last year, and their wedding was graced by Hollywood’s big names, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Sydney Sweeney, Kim Kardashian, and a host of others.
Speaking with Extra as part of promotional efforts for her new book, “The Fly Who Flew Under the Sea,” Sanchez spoke about her destination wedding and the things their respective kids did that left her emotional.
“We did tear up the dance floor. We had so much fun,” she said. “It was really incredible being there with, you know, all of our kids, our family, our best friends, and we danced all night. It was really, really fun.”
“All of our kids gave speeches, mine and Jeff’s, and they were all so meaningful,” she shared. “My daughter gave a speech during the ceremony, this was before we said our vows, and [I] started bawling. Like, I could not- I’m like, ‘Oh, my gosh’ right before the pictures.”
She added, “And so all of our kids gave these speeches, and they were all extremely emotional and loving, and I think they made the wedding what it was.”
