Jesse Watters recently shared a post honoring a big moment during the 2026 Winter Olympics. The Fox News personality even got to share directly during a recent celebration. This later inspired a few reactions from commenters on social media, including both fans and critics.

    Jesse Watters Recently Shared ‘Congratulations’

Watters is known to many for various Fox News programs. This includes The O’Reilly Factor, The Five, and his own namesake series, Jesse Watters Primetime.

In addition, many also follow Watters on social media, sharing various posts about his life and career. Recently, he shared a post in connection with the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Watters shared a photo of himself in Washington, D.C., posing alongside members of the USA Olympic gold-winning hockey team. The three athletes in the photo were seen showing off their gold medals.

Meanwhile, Watters could be seen grinning, holding a thumbs-up. In the caption, he shared, “Congrats Team USA!”

As noted by NBC Olympics, Team USA defeated Canada 2-1 in overtime this past Sunday. This was the first time Team USA won an Olympic gold medal in men’s hockey since the 1980 Lake Placid Games, which was dubbed the “Miracle on Ice.”

Commenters Praised The Athletes, While A Few Targeted Watters

Watters’ post inspired a few different reactions on social media. Many praised the team for their performance during the games. As one commenter wrote, “So proud to be an American. The hockey team is everything I want to see in the youth of this great nation. Love all of you.”

Another shared, “Awesome Game!! Love these guys because of the way they praised the USA!!! Real Heroes!!”

Some comments, however, were directed more toward Watters himself. While a few discussed previous comments he’s made on his programs, some simply teased him for the moment.

That said, Watters also had a few defenders who enjoyed the share. Some comments included:

    • “Where’s your medal, Jesse?”
    • “Don’t let Jesse claim he’s a world-class athlete now because he stood next a few!”
    • “Lol we’re all in Fox’s world.”
    • “Look … Jesse gets to hang out with THE GOLDEN STARS!!! PATRIOTS ALL OF THEM!! God Bless!”
    • “Hey, Jesse Waters where’s your gold. In the bank, already”
    • “Great picture! Way to represent us and bring home the GOLD Team USA!”
    • “Thumbs up where?”
    • “Did you tell them about your buddy Jeff?”
    • “You’re still the biggest f—— loser in [America.]”
    • “I love you guys…not Jesse.”
