Bar Rescue Is Set To Return With A 10th Season, After Season 9 Came With A New Twist
Bar Rescue is a reality series on the Paramount Network that stars entrepreneur Jon Taffer. Travelling to bars and clubs, Taffer offers his expertise to renovate these businesses, ultimately saving them from closing.
Over the years, viewers have seen the show, which premiered in 2011, go through a number of changes. During the eighth season, for example, the series focused on Taffer’s residence in Las Vegas.
The ninth season, on the other hand, featured guest hosts filling in for Jon Taffer in a few episodes, being the first season to do so. Some guest hosts included Spike Mendelsohn and Jason Santos.
Recently, it was announced that the series will come back for a tenth season. It will premiere on Sunday, February 22, at 10 PM ET/PT, with two back-to-back episodes.
A Few Celebrity Guest Stars Have Also Been Teased For The New Season
The news was recently shared on The Wrap, which Taffer recently shared on Facebook. During the moment, fans were wondering if they will see him as much as last season, or if the show would return to its earlier format.
Many fans had disliked the change at the time, missing seeing Taffer on the show. As one fan wrote, “I hope Jon is in the episodes for season 10 and not all his bartenders and cooks redoing bars this time with Jon not being in them.”
Taffer himself took to the comments to reassure the fan. He wrote, “It’s all me this season.” To this, the fan replied, “Awesome. Can’t wait.”
In addition, other fans shared their excitement at learning Jon will be back full-time on the show. One shared, “Good, it’s not the same without you.” Another wrote, “No offense to the others, but nobody does it like [you]… I will not miss an episode this year.”
Meanwhile, the outlet also shared a few things that fans could expect this season, including a few special guests. These will include Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC and pro wrestler and actress Mercedes Varnado. In addition, the season will take fans across the cities across Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
