Seemingly on a daily basis, gruesome crimes come to light all across America, with some even taking years to be fully unearthed, just as it was with this situation in Kansas making the rounds. Based on the latest updates, there is a harrowing story coming out of Rose Hill, Kansas, which resulted in the death of a young girl.
Kansas Woman Sentenced In Death Of Young Girl
Crystina Elizabeth Schroer was arrested on February 3, 2025. According to Too Fab, “police were contacted regarding a mental health crisis, where they were told of possible human remains buried in the yard. ABC affiliate KAKE reports that police had initially responded to the home after Crystina threatened to kill herself.”
Following an extensive investigation and search of the property, which included bringing dogs in and digging on the property, “the decomposed remains of a human child were found in a trash bag.”
Too Fab continues, adding, “A postmortem and DNA test results confirmed the identity of the decedent as Kennedy Schroer, the adopted name of the little girl born as Natalie Garcia. The press release goes on to discuss a multi-agency investigation into her death, which included canvasing the neighborhood, conducting interviews, and even consulting experts in trauma and abuse.”
Crystina Schroer was sentenced to 215 months after being found guilty of second-degree murder, child abuse, making a false writing, and theft. This is just short of 18 years behind bars.
