Kate Gosselin Might Take Lie Detector Over Bodyguard Romance

The former TV personality’s son has accused her of lying about the timeline of her relationship with her former bodyguard. He also publicly invited her to take a lie detector test with him to prove the genuineness of his allegations. 

Collin and his mother have been at war with each other for years, with the former accusing the latter of physically and emotionally abusing him right from when he was 12 years old. 

Collin is standing on business when it comes to the infidelity accusations he made against his mother. He took to his Instagram stories to challenge her to prove the genuineness of her innocence, writing, 

“This is my formal invitation to do a lie detector test with my mom lolll. Then we’ll see who’s been lying straight to the public…” 

The 21-year-old doubled down on his stance, emphasizing that he isn’t joking about taking the test.  “I’m so serious by the way,” he added.

Collin’s challenge came after he posted a series of lengthy accusations on his Instagram stories, imploring the public not to be deceived by his mother.

He accused Kate of being in a relationship with her bodyguard, Steve Neild, since 2009, alleging that she cheated on his father with Neild. He also claimed that she went as far as sharing hotel rooms with her former bodyguard when they went on family vacations. 

The TV personality’s son urged his mother to come out and say the truth instead of trying to play it off. He also noted that the public shouldn’t support his mother for being in a new relationship when his father was the one who was criticized for having an affair. 

In Collin’s rant, he noted that he wasn’t trying to expose his mother as a way of thriving off the drama. On the contrary, he insisted that he only came out to say the truth because he doesn’t condone cheating.

“I’m not big on the drama, and I’m very busy in college, at work, and running my business, so don’t think I feed on this. However, I feel very strongly on the matter of cheating and then blaming someone else for your own actions,” he wrote, per The Blast.

The young business owner said that he wasn’t trying to “shame” his mother, but simply wanted her to take accountability. 

Collin’s Instagram rant came hours after his father also pointed an accusing finger at his former lover’s new boyfriend. 

Jon Gosselin posted a picture of Kate and Neild on Instagram, writing, “Guess who really ruined the marriage. Read for yourself.” He also shared a screenshot of a story published by Page Six, which confirmed the romance between Kate and Neild. 

“Maybe when I speak, the people will listen now!!!” he added, according to The Blast.

Jon’s public criticism of his ex-wife’s love life came amid reports that she has intentions of being with Neild long-term. 

As The Blast reported, an insider close to the situation confirmed that Kate and Neild have been dating for a long time and are thinking of walking down the aisle together. 

“They have wedding plans, it’s that serious. There’s no doubt that Kate is crazy about him,” the insider said.  The source also alleged that Kate and Neild are already living together. 

Kate’s relationship with Neild opened up an even bigger can of worms with her son, Collin, who didn’t just accuse her of infidelity, but also of driving a wedge between him and his siblings. 

Last month, The Blast reported that Collin made claims about being used for “fame and money” alongside his siblings, adding that they were often “pitted against each other.” He emphasized that despite it all, he loves his siblings “more than anything.” 

A fan shared a screenshot of Collin’s post under one of Kate’s videos, and the 50-year-old responded by saying that Collin knows the true reason why he and his siblings are no longer in close contact with each other.

Another fan criticized Kate for being too hard on Collin. However, she defended her actions, saying that she may have been “overzealous at times,” but she was only trying to do her “very best” because she cared “SO SO much” about her children.
