Kelly Ripa has been hosting ABC’s daytime talk show for 25 years. LIVE With Kelly & Mark marked the milestone anniversary in February with a star-studded celebration. In an interview about the milestone, she admitted that she’s thought about retirement and sought advice from a trusted source.
She’s staying put for now, but a disruption of her morning routine caused stroke-like “symptoms.” She opened up about the scary experience earlier this week. According to Kelly Ripa, she jumped out of bed in the morning, raring to go for the day. After taking a shower and getting ready, she realized it was only 2 a.m., throwing off her whole routine.
“Guys, I’m a little sluggish today,” she confessed to the audience. OK! magazine reported that Kelly Ripa wondered if she was having a stroke amid sluggish behavior. However, she was able to make it through the episode without any problems.
Her husband and co-host, Mark Consuelos, offered an explanation for her strange behavior. He revealed that he caught his wife having an afternoon nap. “I came through the bathroom and you were listening to a podcast and you were sleeping for maybe a good hour and a half,” he said.
Kelly Ripa admitted that she accidentally fell asleep. “I had to tape my podcast. So I was listening to a different podcast to prepare for my podcast, and I fell asleep,” the Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast host explained.

Mark Consuelos made the shocking confession that he once took one of their sons to the tawdry restaurant years ago. The former soap stars share three children – Michael, Lola, and Joaquin.
The Scream 7 star took their oldest son, Michael, to Hooters when he was around 3 or 4. However, Mark Consuelos said it wasn’t his fault. “The other father was a complete wild card. I wasn’t driving, he was driving,” he explained about the unconventional play date at Hooters.
