Kelly Ripa Talks ‘Naked’ Flying
Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa spend the opening moments of their ABC talk show discussing random tidbits about life. During one recent episode, they talked about the trend of “raw-dogging” flights. The term refers to taking a flight without a phone, book, or anything to entertain you during the travel experience.
The topic changed to “naked flying.” The concept is the same but it refers to flying without any luggage. But Kelly Ripa admitted that she thought it meant something else. The talk show host joked that she has been “naked flying” for years because she refuses to wear a bra.
“Let’s face it, I don’t need a bra. This bra is so I have a place to clip my mic. That’s the only reason. That’s why I’m wearing it,” she joked on LIVE, as reported by PEOPLE magazine.

LIVE Host Explains Mishap, Being ‘Disoriented’
Kelly Ripa often joked about her small bust. She turned her humor back on herself on the show’s first taping in New York City since the holiday break. The All My Children alum revealed that she’d been on vacation and had a difficult time adjusting to her morning schedule.
“This morning I woke up, I was very disoriented,” she told the audience on the January 5th episode. We’d been on vacation, didn’t know where I was. Started getting ready a little bit in the dark because I don’t like to wake, you know, I don’t like illuminate the room; I don’t want the bedroom to be illuminated when I start putting makeup on.”
“So I reach for my foundation stick, and I start putting it on. And something doesn’t look right, but I sort of keep going. I just keep adding more and more and more and more,” she continued.
Kelly Ripa revealed that it wasn’t foundation that she was using. “If I look strange to you this morning, it’s because I was putting contour all over my face,” she said. Her husband chimed in that she “looked great!”
She joked that everyone assumed she had been somewhere on vacation and complimented her tan. I’m not. I used a contour stick as foundation,” she quipped.
