During a conversation with PEOPLE, Kimora, 50, got candid about her children’s fathers and revealed she doesn’t have much of a relationship with any of them.
Kimora explained that she was hesitant to say that she co-parents because her children are with her “full-time.”
The Baby Phat leader said, “I’m pretty much the primary parent. It’s difficult, but I don’t know sometimes what other people are thinking. Guys are weird.”
As mentioned, Kimora is the mother of five children, including Kenzo Lee, 16, Gary Lee, 16, whom she adopted, and Jayden, 19, her bonus son.

Russell wasn’t too fond of Kimora’s statements, clapping back at the TV personality with a post on Instagram, according to The Blast.
Russell, creator of the fashion brand Phat Farm, leveled stunning accusations against Kimora and also claimed to have supported the mother with a substantial monthly payment.
“I gave you 50,000 a month for 20 years. I was your best/only friend. I’m the godfather to your other 3 kids, until one day you stole my stock,” he wrote. “I have been fighting for my kids’ love and my bread ever since. You threatened that if I sued you, I would never speak to my kids again. There are two sides to every story.”

Russell’s claim didn’t move users, as many torched the music executive for pursuing a relationship with a young Kimora in the ’90s, while also referencing the legal battles they said forced him out of the country.
“Best friend for 20 years because he got with a teenager in his mid 30s… that’s what happens when you groom a person. Thankfully, she got free of that,” someone wrote. “Guy who fled the country to avoid accountability for a whole bunch of credible r-pe accusations has thoughts about how rich he is. Fun fact: he dated Kimora Lee when she was a sophomore in high school, and he was 18 years older,” another shared.

In her Instagram Stories, Kimora responded to Russell’s claims, writing, “My ‘girls’ are GROWN WOMEN!” She added, “You know these are lies,” before questioning why he was engaging “from thousands of miles away in a non-extradition country?”
“Go negotiate and answer your accusers,” she finished.
In 2017, a report claiming Russell had assaulted 18 women surfaced, sending shockwaves through the music industry. While Russell denied the allegations, he admittedly “apologized for the instances of thoughtlessness in my consensual relations.”
Later that year, Russell relocated to Bali, Indonesia; however, the mogul assured the public that it wasn’t to avoid potential legal consequences.

“People saying that I somehow can’t come home when I’m there all the time wears on you. It wears on me after a while to keep hearing the same narrative, which is false. I’m always in LA, I’m always in New York, and Miami. And I’ve never had any reason to feel unsafe in America,” he said.

Prior to making headlines with her ex-husband, Kimora reflected on a chaotic time in her life last year, when her daughter, Aoki, drew concern online after being seen snuggled up with 65-year-old restaurateur Vittorio Assaf.
According to Kimora, although she wasn’t pleased with her daughter’s romantic choices, she let Aoki handle that situation how she saw fit. “I let my kids make their own mistakes, like I said. That’s the whole thing we were saying about living out your life in public, and I think that’s very, very, very tough,” she said.
