Klay Thompson has lost the ability to score at the new team Dallas Mavericks where the season started with five disappointing games in a row with single-digit scores. Golden State Warriors’ superstar has been the center of attention online due to his unusually low scoring and many people have related his on-court performance to his relationship with the famous rapper Megan Thee Stallion. The statistical condition still remains a troubling one irrespective of what the reasons might be. The player that has been traditionally celebrated as one of the best shooters ever in the NBA has now been able to hit only 36.7% of his shots and just 30.4% from the three-point line in five games. The numbers are much lower than his career averages, which are 45.3% from the field and 41.3% from three-point land.

It’s still early in the season, and the sample size is small. Besides, Thompson has really had tougher challenges during his career than the one he is facing now. The player’s commitment to training and talent as a shooter clearly present him as a person who will be improving continuously the more settled he becomes in the new place.
