Kourtney Kardashian Gushes Over ‘Close Bond’ With Stepdaughter

Kourtney Kardashian is making it clear that her bond with her stepdaughter, Alabama Barker, is incredibly strong. However, she maintains a calm and respectful relationship with her other stepchildren, Atiana and Landon Barker.

This comes after the Lemme co-founder, 46, reportedly had a disagreement with Alabama, stemming from the teenager’s feud with rapper Bhad Bhabie. 

Amid the ongoing family drama, Alabama also faced criticism online for revealing a deeply personal part of her life.

In a recent episode of “The Kardashians,” Kourtney joined Alabama to film an intro for her Twitch stream. During the filming, the Lemme co-founder couldn’t help but gush over how close they have become.

“Alabama and I are super close. I’ve known her since she was 8 years old,” she gushed, per PEOPLE Magazine.

“I love being there for her to support her. I love that she asked me, that she thinks I’m cool enough to be in her video.” 

While Kourtney highlighted her tight bond with Alabama, she also revealed that her relationship with Travis’ other children, Atiana and Landon, is more balanced. She explained that she tries to be present when they need her, but without being overbearing.

Kourtney, who is stepmom to Travis’s three kids, also shares three children of her own—Mason, Penelope, and Reign —with ex Scott Disick. Last year, she welcomed a baby boy, Rocky Thirteen, with Travis.

Though Kourtney is now expressing her admiration for Alabama, her statement follows reports that her husband, Travis, helped mend tensions between the two.

According to The Blast, an insider revealed that Travis acted as a “peacemaker,” facilitating a heart-to-heart between his wife and daughter.

“Kourtney and Alabama have really turned a corner. Things are in a much better place between them now than they were a month ago,” the source shared.

The insider added that Kourtney still finds Alabama’s “feisty free spirit” a handful at times, but thanks to Travis’ calm approach, they don’t expect another fallout soon. The Blink-182 drummer reportedly reminded both Kourtney and Alabama of the importance of supporting one another for the family’s sake.

While the pair has reconciled, the source noted that their relationship is still evolving and will take time to fully heal.

Travis’ mediation seems understandable, given how the feud reportedly took a toll on their family. An insider revealed that Alabama’s issues with Bhad Bhabie created serious tension in the Kardashian-Barker household.

“This is a huge source of stress for them as a couple,” the insider shared. “They’re both upset and worried about Alabama, and now on top of that, Kourtney’s hit the roof because Rocky and Reign have both gotten dragged into the negativity.”

According to The Blast, Kourtney initially stayed silent, allowing Travis to handle the matter. However, she became frustrated when her young sons were mentioned in the online drama.

“Until recently, Kourtney was biting her tongue and trying to mostly stay out of it and let Travis take charge, but she’s too upset to stay quiet now and wants to start making some rules and laying down the law,” the source revealed.

The feud between Alabama and Bhad Bhabie reportedly began months ago when Bhad Bhabie accused Alabama of betrayal.

Things escalated when Bhad Bhabie’s grandmother, Barbara, used Kourtney’s youngest son, Rocky, in a jab at Alabama. 

She referred to the 19-year-old as a “little dirty a– hoe” for mentioning her granddaughter, Kali, in a diss track instead of focusing on her “father’s new family.” Barbara went on to say, “Rocky rules while you’re just on your knees,” in another post.

The situation worsened when Alabama’s boyfriend went live on Instagram with Kourtney’s older son, Reign, without her permission. According to insiders, the incident deeply upset Kourtney, who didn’t hesitate to voice her feelings and make her displeasure known.

Following her feud, Alabama made headlines for revealing her pregnancy loss at 19, a move that sparked criticism from some followers.

As reported by The Blast, the young adult addressed the backlash directly, calling it “insane” for people to think she’d share something so personal just for attention.

“Accident or not, I don’t need to prove myself by posting,” Alabama wrote. “My journey is my own, not a performance, and not because someone else shared theirs,” she stated firmly.
