Barcelona start the weekend with a four-point lead over Real Madrid at the top of LaLiga and will be looking to strengthen their position when they host Osasuna.
Barca have won their last six games in the league and beat Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday in a Champions League game which did, once again, expose their high defensive line.
But defender Jules Kounde scored twice to rescue a win and Hansi Flick’s side are looking good on home soil.
Barcelona have won their last six LaLiga matches by a margin of at least two goals. Osasuna’s task is stark.
“It’s a long road ahead,” Flick told reporters. “It’s December, and we’ve got a lot to play for.
“The important thing is to look at ourselves. There are things we can do better. The right attitude is not to be happy with what we’ve already got. We have to keep going.
“And the end of the season is what will put you in your place. That’s where you’ll have earned what you’ve got.”

Marcus Rashford impressed from the bench in midweek and could start as Flick tries to keep his squad fresh.
Osasuna are without Iker Benito with a knee injury but have no further concerns.
