Recent leaks have revealed that Motorola’s affordable option of its famous Razr line is expected to receive a major RAM upgrade.
According to Chinese certifications believed to be for the Motorola Razr 2026, there will be variants with 8GB, 12GB, 16GB, and 18GB. The agency also shows that there will be storage capacity variants of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
Other upgrades noted by the regulatory agency include increasing the secondary camera to 50MP and a new octa-core processor, which Android Police‘s Mark Jansen suspects is a MediaTek Dimensity X Processor of some kind. Other notes from the spec sheet include a 4500 mAh battery, a 6.9-inch primary OLED screen, and a 3.63-inch secondary OLED screen.
Now, PhoneArena notes that these specs will be primarily for the Chinese version of the device (named the Razr 70), but there is a good chance that other international markets will receive similar treatment. Most likely, the 18GB option will be limited to China, but the good news is that North American buyers will get the 16GB and 1TB option.
This model will most likely be joined by the higher-end Razr Plus and Razr Ultra models as well.
