Just when you thought we forgotten, we’re back! The Chronicle Episode 55 is here! With a review of horror Whistle starring Dafne Keen.

A shorter, solo episode for Ros Tibbs who recently joined the writers team at The Peoples Movies. Whistle is based on the M.R James short story Whistle and I’ll Come to You. We follow a misfit group of unwitting high school students stumble upon a cursed object, an ancient Aztec Death Whistle. They discover that blowing the whistle and the terrifying sound it emits will summon their future deaths to hunt them down.

In 2026 we are looking at freshening things up a little, which could be shorter solo episodes, the more traditional 2 hosts. Everything from new films to classic films and everything in between to curb those longer waits between episodes.
