Kelly Ripa hit several milestones this year. She celebrated 25 years at LIVE in February. Next up is her 30th wedding anniversary. Mark Consuelos spilled surprising details about their long-lasting marriage during an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.
The actor, who starred in Scream 7 and is making his Broadway debut soon, said that they never bring arguments from the show home with them. However, they bring arguments from home to air out on the show.
“Sometimes, we bring up stuff on air because it’s kind of a safe space. ‘Cos there’s an audience there, and you can kind of make a joke out of it,” Mark Consuelos confessed about using the show as marriage counseling. The married couple often jokes about their next spouses if one of them were to die. Kelly Ripa joked that her next husband would be an older man on the brink of death.

Kelly Ripa Reveals Husband’s Worst Habit
In addition to the daytime talk show, Kelly Ripa has her own podcast. Her husband was one of the first guests on Let’s Talk Off Camera. The couple opened up about what keeps their marriage alive despite often being away from each other for work commitments.
Kelly Ripa confessed to doing whatever it takes to keep Mark Consuelos interested, even taking their intimate ritual to FaceTime. Elsewhere in the podcast episode, she spilled her husband’s worst habit.
“This is not recent, because it definitely changed, and I don’t know if I changed or if you changed or if it was some combination of change — but you used to be insanely jealous,” Kelly Ripa said.
The LIVE host added, “And that was a hard pill to swallow. It’s very hard being married to somebody who is jealous.” Luckily, the couple overcame the jealousy and are stronger than ever.
