Love After Lockup Alum Dead At 63
Being on Love After Lockup can be an interesting and vulnerable move. Some really want to prove that they have gotten their lives back together after being released from jail. At the same time, others are showing that they have found their soulmates, and the past does not matter. Unfortunately, not everyone can stay on the straight and narrow, which can be a problem. Several show alums have since passed away, including Tracie Wagaman, Allah Subbotina, and Scott Davey. They have fallen back into their own ways, and addiction took over while Asonta Gholston was killed in a car accident.
Now, another has lost their life, and it has hit the community hard. Kristianna Miller’s mother, Tammy Kaye Donath, has died at the age of 63. This happened on October 31st, 2025, and some viewers may have been surprised she did not pass sooner. During Kristianna’s time on the series, her mother was often ill and required oxygen. Unfortunately, Kristianna could not stay sober and landed back behind bars. This took a toll on Tammy as she was always worried about her daughter and her well-being.

Love After Lockup fans came to appreciate Tammy and how honest as well as straightforward she was. She only wanted the best for Kristianna, and that could be very hard. After Kristianna left the show, she and her husband, whom she met while incarcerated, divorced. He has since moved on, and she continues to struggle. Dubuque, Iowa-based Tammy left behind another daughter, Terra Kaylea Sprague, and a son, Christopher Roth, as well as siblings and grandchildren.
