Mama June Shannon has had many health problems over the years and has showcased them on her various reality shows. Unfortunately, her life-saving medications recently went missing, and she is desperate to have them returned. Keep reading for more details on what happened and her attempt at retrieving them.
Mama June’s Stolen Meds Go MIA
For years, Mama June has had many health problems. She suffered debilitating headaches that sent her to the hospital. It was unclear why she was struggling so much, and then, she fell ill again. Unfortunately, she could not take the time to focus on herself as her daughter, Anna Cardwell, had stage 4 adrenal carcinoma. Anna had moved in with June and her husband, Justin Stroud, and eventually passed away. Since June felt she was prioritizing Anna, she put her pain on the back burner, but when she did meet with a doctor, she learned that she had fibroids.
The fibroid surgery led to a hysterectomy, which was a long road to recovery. Now, she has revealed that she has an illness that could leave her immobile down the line. However, she is grateful that it is not cancer, especially after what Anna went through. Sadly, Mama June was recently waiting for a medication delivery that did not come. It was to be delivered to her daughter, Pumpkin’s home, but it went elsewhere. As she shared on social media, they know that a lady has the package and was supposed to drop it off. That has not happened, and this needs to be refrigerated.
It is a GLP1 drug, which followers predicted, given how much weight Mama June has lost. However, she made it clear that it is not for weight loss but rather for life-saving needs:
- Yes it’s a glp1 meds but it’s not for weightmlsss it’s helps with inflammation in my body and has had other benefits for me especially with some of the medical issues I’m dealing with right now
Finally, it was going to Pumpkin’s as June does not live in Gordon, Georgia anymore.
A Big Update
Mama June stated that the lady knew where Pumpkin lived, so that should not be an issue. Of course, some followers joked about Pumpkin’s home. She has her real home and her show home, so maybe the lady did not know which one to drop it off at. Fortunately, June had a big update to share regarding her medications:

She initially had stated that she would have to purchase it again with her own money. Yet, followers noted that if it had been lost, it would not be her responsibility. It is unclear why someone else had the medications, yet seemingly refused to give them back. Luckily, Mama June has them, and all is right again.
