Mama June Shocks With Drastic Hair Transformation
When Mama June first came into the public sphere, she did not care about her appearance. She was rather dirty and ratty, and then she underwent extensive plastic surgery and lost a lot of weight thanks to that. Her life changed, but it all fell by the wayside when she became an addict. Fortunately, she was able to clean up her life and her appearance once again. Since then, her hair and nails have always been done. Aside from blonde, June has experimented with pink and brown highlights mixed in.
Now, the reality star has decided to shake things up ahead of the Family Crisis season premiere. Mama June showed off a reddish, shoulder-length, cropped cut with some blonde highlights mixed in. It appeared she took out her extensions and went for a more natural look. Her daughter, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird, who just added a lot of length to her locks, proudly showcased the new look via social media. The Perry, Georgia, hairdresser, who performed magic on both ladies, stated this:
“I don’t normally do reds…. but what Mama June wants, she gets.”
This was a huge makeover for Mama June, and it is unclear if she will keep it short and natural or add length. Right now, she looks amazing and so much younger, and refreshed. After fans and followers saw the color, they were obsessed. Moreover, it made some want to get their hair colored, as well.
A New Sensation
Mama June fans loved her new hair color and could not help but compliment it. They noted that it looked far better than it had in a while and was very inspiring. She has not had a haircut like this in a very long time. Therefore, it was a refreshing change:
- I like the color. Makes me want to get a cut n color done.
- Looks much better than what it was before
- It makes her look so much younger.
- I had this look in 9th grade 97/98 and it was my stylist take on the Ginger Spice do I wanted. Hate June but this hair is awesome 👌
- Gotta admit this is probably the best hair color she’s ever had.
