English-French rock band Mandy, Indiana announced their new album, URGH, out Feb. 6, via Sacred Bones. URGH is the follow-up to their 2023 debut full-length, i’ve seen a way, and marks the first release with Sacred Bones after their recent signing to the label.
URGH includes the lead single “Magazine,” where vocalist Valentine Caulfield moves through the aftermath of a sexual assault. The track’s visualizer uses scanned imagery of the human body, focusing on the brain, which transitions into the LP artwork by artist Carnovsky, featuring an anatomical illustration of the anatomist and physician Andreas Vesalius.

“‘Magazine’ is the expression of the frustration and deep-seated violence I felt while attempting to recover from being raped,” Caulfield explains. “Just like most victims of sexual assault, I will never get justice, and just like most perpetrators, my attacker will never be punished. My therapist encouraged me to channel my anger into something productive, so here it is: my primal, screaming call for retribution. It is the only way I will ever get to say to my rapist: You hurt me, so I’m going to hurt you.”
The 10-track album also includes a feature with rapper billy woods on “Sicko!” Check out the visualizer for “Magazine,” the cover art and tracklist for URGH, and the band’s 2026 tour dates below.
