Mandy Moore’s latest post comes after dozens of speculations following her unusually new look and a foiled attempt at getting donations for a family member during the California wildfires.

The singer uploaded a cozy pic of her and her husband alongside their three kids laughing it out on the couch for Thanksgiving. She chose a black and white themed picture for the post, acknowledging what a wild ride the year has been.

“It’s been a pretty wild and difficult year, but the top line is definitely overwhelming gratitude. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. The most grateful for these 4,” the post read.

The actress and her beautiful family earned loads of accolades from well-wishers under her post, who described the picture with very loving words.

The actress’s new appearance earned several comments from internet users, who claimed her facial features looked a lot different since her last sighting on TV. More speculators wondered why the actress decided to mess with her naturally beautiful face.

Mandy has yet to confirm or deny any claims of surgery on her face, but she sure got candid about her early days as a famous 15-year-old who did not have to worry about side talks on social media.

She raved about how much she could afford to live a normal life at that time and how it was pretty easy to figure out life as she proceeded in the journey.

Earlier in the year, the mother of three tried to solicit funds for her brother-in-law and sister, who lost their home to the devastating fires. The actress noted that the couple were expecting their first child when the fire ravaged their home, which meant they needed money as urgently as possible.

Moore’s post was not received with the best of responses from internet users, who referred to her comfortable financial status and the sensitivity of the situation.

The critics explained that more families needed the money more than her people, but the actress explained that the donations would go into the right channel. She added that a family friend suggested the decision to raise money, and she only helped use her platform to amplify the movement.

Moore encouraged anyone who had an issue with her post to refrain from donating, as it was not a move to coerce anyone.

Moore took to her Instagram story with lots of rage for Amazon on the decision of their delivery agent to drop off a package at her in-laws’ home, which was destroyed in the fire. In a story by The Blast, the actress uploaded a picture of her order placed in the midst of the debris of the property.

Mandy declared that the delivery service provider should do better and apply better discretion when it comes to dropping off a package at an address that no longer exists. The actress’s reaction comes after she narrated the terrible night she had to flee from her home as the wildfire closed in.

She claimed that she never got an evacuation notice, as her brother-in-law was the one who called with advice that they should leave the premises.

“I calmly walked downstairs and relayed this to my husband, and without skipping a beat, we promptly packed up the kids (in their pjs), our dog, and scrambled to find our three cats as the power went out,” the actress shared.

She added that they found solace in their family friend’s home after racing crazily through the trees on the freeway towards safety. 

The actress appeared on Kylie Kelce’s podcast to share a closer look into her journey as a 40+ pregnant woman and how women within her age bracket fared with their pregnancies. Mandy acknowledged that whether it was a deliberate decision or an accident, these women carried their pregnancies to term.

However, she picked a bone with the health system, which treated women who got pregnant at a later age like unique beings with complicated or high-risk cases. She insisted that these treatments were very unwarranted, as older pregnant women are all humans at the end of the day.

“It’s less about how I think the people and the perceptions they may have had, like the people in my life, it was just more about the healthcare system in general,” the actress stated. She noted that even after three pregnancies, women’s bodies are still handled with little care.
