Google has dropped its March Pixel Drop, which includes new features across Pixel devices, alongside new specific Canadian expansions.
New Pixel-first features
What’s probably the most interesting aspect of the Pixel Drop is AI agents. Gemini can start working in the background to complete tasks such as re-ordering your usual coffee or booking a rideshare. I saw this feature demoed at Samsung Unpacked. You can take a look below. This feature is only available on the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL on the Gemini beta. However, ‘Call an Uber’ is also coming to the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Circle to Search is getting an update, which lets users use multi-object image recognition, such as identifying a whole outfit or checking out every item of food in a bento box. And you also use Circle to search for videos, social content and images and ‘Try it On’ to see how clothes look on you. This is coming to the Pixel 10 series, including the 10 Pro Fold and 10a.
Magic Cue can now prompt users when you’re texting with friends about restaurants based on your conversations. This is coming to the Pixel 10 series, but does not include the Pixel 10a.

It’s also now easier to keep track of your Now Playing, as Now Playing finally has a standalone app. You can also check out the history tab to see everything in one place. The Now Playing app is coming to Pixel 6 phones and newer. At a Glance also offers more information, such as the best route home or the chance to take a look at real-time game scores. You can create custom icons now for your home screen as well. Updated At a Glance is coming to Pixel 7 phones and newer.
Pixel Watch now works better to secure your phone, like sending an alert if you leave your device behind. And your Pixel Watch and phone now offer more identity checks for smooth, secure access.
And the Pixel Watch 4 features are now expanding to the Pixel Watch 3, letting users double pinch or turn their wrist to answer calls, snap photos or pause music.
Android features
The March Pixel Drop also comes with new features that should make it available to more Android devices.
You can now share locations directly in Google Messages with Find Hub, so you can see each other on a real-time map view. Find Hub can now share your tracker tag with an airline if you’ve lost some luggage.

Google Play now has bite-sized videos called ‘Google Play shorts.’ Soon you’ll be able to explore new content as you scroll through a feed with short videos. And you can finally design a custom Calling Card in the contacts app, such as being able to choose photos, font, colour, which you’ll see in the caller ID when they’re calling.
The Emoji Kitchen let’s users mix even more emojis, like combining the cheese and flower emojis.
Try out these features and more on your Pixel 10 series devices.
