The glamorous appearance came hot on the heels of her buzzworthy beach photoshoot with “Wuthering Heights” co-star Jacob Elordi, a steamy collaboration that further showcased their onscreen chemistry.

Regarding the romantic drama, both actors have given their takes on filming its steamy sex scenes, with Margot Robbie saying that some of the moments made her feel “weak at the knees.”

Margot Robbie commanded attention on Sunday as she stepped out at Tropfest in Sydney, continuing her whirlwind run of appearances following the premiere of her latest film, “Wuthering Heights.”

The actress attended the event as a member of the judging panel, joining fellow industry heavyweights including Sarah Snook, who is best known for her role in the HBO drama series “Succession.”

She turned up in a sleeveless, maxi-length black dress that drew attention with its sheer detailing. Beneath the diaphanous fabric, she layered a delicate lace bra and satin boxer-style shorts that put on display her toned midriff.

Just days earlier, Robbie was spotted alongside her “Wuthering Heights” co-star Jacob Elordi at Bronte Beach in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

The pair were reportedly there for a photoshoot believed to be tied to an upcoming editorial. Still, that didn’t stop intrigued onlookers from pausing to watch the two effortlessly display the chemistry that is seen in their onscreen performance for the period romantic drama.

On several occasions, they were seen leaning in close, exchanging laughs, and sharing playful moments that underscored just how comfortable they appear in each other’s company.

For the seaside shoot, Robbie opted for a daring corset-style ensemble in an off-white hue. The skimpy nature of the outfit accentuated her long legs, while its plunging V-cut detail subtly drew attention to her waistline.

In “Wuthering Heights,” Robbie took on the role of Catherine Earnshaw, while Elordi portrayed her brooding love interest, Heathcliff.

Robbie herself admitted she was swept up in the intensity of it all, revealing to British Vogue in its January 2026 issue that some scenes left her “weak at the knees.”

“It was the little things that we loved as two women in our 30s, and this movie is primarily for people in our demographic. These epic romances and period pieces aren’t often made by women,” she wrote.

Recently, Elordi also gave his own take on capturing the intimate moments in “Wuthering Heights.”

He described the scenes as “super technical,” and detailed instances from the film where this idea played out.

“It’s like, ‘Action’ and it’s like a horse at the race track – straight out of the gates,” the actor told the Sun in an interview. “It’s no different to choreographing a fight scene or a dance sequence.”

“It’s super technical, especially the scene where it’s not a sex scene, but where I’m on top [of Margot] with my hands – that’s choreographed because, in that kind of light, you only have so much space to move,” Elordi added.

“So what you do has to fit in the frame and work with the lighting,” he further remarked.
