The emerging young stars of the eagerly awaited film ‘Regretting You’, Mckenna Grace and Mason Thames, participated in an adorable puppy-themed interview organised by BuzzFeed Celeb. Adoption of puppies from the Animal League was also a part of the marketing campaign that not only placed the actors in a comedic situation but also conquered their fans’ hearts. The interview has drawn considerable attention not solely for its cuteness but also for some overlooked elements that have stirred up the rumors regarding the off-screen relationship of the co-stars.

The promotional video was showing Grace and Thames in a very playful mood with several puppies offered by the Animal League. Their expressions indicated that it was a thoroughly enjoyable activity for the young actors. The Animal League wrote on social media, “What a super fun day!! Our puppies enjoyed their time with Mckenna Grace and Mason Thames the most.” The collaboration resembled an act of goodwill and it was a nice moment when the movie was promoted along with the animal welfare. However, for a large part of the audience, the dogs were quickly forgotten and the attention was on the celebrities.
It was probably the double wearing of the same bracelets by the stars that magnetized the audience to the screen. A somewhat critical, and probably envious, comment in Portuguese said, “Você e muito bonita para esse mlk,” which means “You are too good looking for this boy.” On the other hand, the dominant mood was very uplifting, as one person even claimed that the interview effects were so strong, “They’re so cute, I smiled the whole interview without noticing 😭.”
