Megan Thee Stallion has officially kicked off her defamation trial against blogger Milagro Gramz. Megan sued Gramz, accusing the blogger of running a “coordinated social media campaign” with Tory Lanez’s support. The lawsuit also claims Milagro spread lies about Meg to allegedly punish her after she publicly named Lanez as her shooter in the July 2020 incident.

Megan Thee Stallion Breaks Down During Defamation Trial Against Milagro Gramz

ABC News reports that Megan Thee Stallion took the witness stand at a federal courthouse in Miami on Thursday, Nov. 20. Meg, whose real name is Megan Pete, told the court she believes Milagro Gramz created a space for people to speak negatively about her. “I felt like nobody cared that I was shot,” Meg shared. “I know everyone was making jokes about it.”

She also emotionally recalled social media posts that Milagro’s account allegedly promoted, which she believes cast doubt on her story and caused her emotional distress. Additionally, the rapper mentioned questioning her place in the world.

“There was a time that I genuinely didn’t care if I lived or died. I felt like no way I mattered. No way I should even be living. I don’t want to be here. I’m tired of waking up. I just wanted to die. I was so tired of being alive,” Megan reportedly said while on the stand.

Meg Accuses Milagro Of Allegedly Releasing Fake Explicit Footage

Per NBC News, Meg also accused Milagro of urging her social media followers to view an unauthorized, sexually explicit video of her. She claimed the footage was fake and said she still feels “defeated,” believing Mialgro shared it, hoping people would think it was real.  “Because no matter what, no matter if the video was fake or not,[Gramz] wanted it to be real,” the rapper said while reportedly wiping away tears.

Here’s What Milagro Gramz Said During Her Testimony

Earlier in the week, Milagro Gramz took the stand during the Miami trial, admitting she discussed Meg’s shooting incident on social media. She added that she spoke with Lanez, hoping to have him as a guest on her platform. Gramz said Tory paid her, but she claims the money went towards personal things like her kids’ birthdays and promo work.

The jury then reportedly saw social media posts where Gramz said Megan wasn’t shot. When the trial asked if she believed Meg got shot, Gramz said no — claiming Meg only stepped on glass, the same story Meg gave police initially. “I can’t say she lied about that because I wasn’t there,” Milagro told the court.

Tory Lanez Hit With $20K Fine For Dodging Defamation Questions In Meg’s Milagro Lawsuit

While serving time for the alleged 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion, Tory Lanez sat for three depositions in relation to Meg’s case against Gramz. During the rapper’s latest deposition, he reportedly refused to answer questions about Meg’s lawsuit against Milagro, leading a judge to hold him in contempt. According to Rolling Stone, Judge Lisette M. Reid issued her ruling on Nov. 16 after Lanez’s third jailhouse appearance. Tory allegedly agreed to pay the fines, saying he was “a millionaire and didn’t care.”

He also refused to explain how he met Milagro. And declined to reveal whether he communicated with her via text or social media. Lanez now owes Meg’s lawyers $20,000 for his noncompliance, per ABC News.

At this time, it’s been reported that Meg is seeking an unspecified amount from Gramz in:

“compensatory damages, punitive damages, statutory damages, attorney’s fees, costs, interest, and all other damages as are just and proper, as well as a declaratory judgment to remedy [the] Defendant’s unlawful behavior.”
