Megyn Kelly Blasts Jennifer Lopez For Wearing ‘Strappy’ Clothes To A Wedding

Megyn Kelly came down hard on Jennifer Lopez for her recent fashion choices during her performance at an Indian billionaire’s wedding.

The pop star turned up in sultry looks for the gig, causing the journalist to wonder why she won’t put on clothes even though she’s “closer to pushing 60.”

This comes weeks after Megyn Kelly raised eyebrows for her controversial take on disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Kelly went scorched earth on Lopez for wearing a provocative outfit to perform in India.

The “Jenny From The Block” singer headlined Indian billionaire Vamsi Gadiraju’s lavish wedding to Netra Mantena over the weekend.

She wore a gold sequined corset that left little to the imagination, as her chest was literally out.

She completed the look with matching knee-high boots, but Kelly didn’t like it at all and didn’t hesitate to slam her while talking about it on her eponymous podcast.

“Why won’t Jennifer Lopez wear clothing? Explain this to me. She’s 56, I think she’s almost 57 now. She went to perform at a billionaire’s wedding in India. Let me just show you what she chose to wear,” the former Fox News host told guest Benny Johnson, per reports.

“I’m not begrudging her looking good at her age, but I’m in favor of clothing. Just a little. It doesn’t have to be that much, but generally, to cover your v–. Like that, at 57 seems like an appropriate standard,” Kelly continued. “It’s too much!”

The broadcaster went further to critique the “ridiculous backward thong” Lopez wore for the party, although she noted that it was even one of the more “modest” looks she had that day.

Gadiraju’s wedding, which was a 3-day-long event, also saw the “Maid In Manhattan” actress slip into a black leather body suit with cutouts all over the stomach.

“Another one was this leather strappy [look]. You can see virtually everything,” Kelly said. “I’m sorry, she had her day of being the s-x kitten when she was in her 20s and early 30s. It worked [and] made her star.”

The TV host then compared Lopez to Tina Turner, wondering why she can’t tone down on making her craft about her sexuality.

“Why can’t she now, as she’s getting closer to pushing 60… You can still be saucy. She could wear a tight dress. She could pull a Tina Turner right, who never lost her s-x appeal ever, but didn’t look desperate ever either,” Kelly said.

Despite Kelly’s critique, Lopez still brought the roof down as she belted some of her hits, including “Waiting for Tonight” and “Get Right,” much to the delight of the crowd. Reports suggest she was paid $2 million for her time.

In a video making the rounds on X, she closed her set by raising a glass to the newlyweds, who joined her on stage.

“May these families be united on this gorgeous day, and God bless us all,” Lopez said, per reports.

Guests who attended the event include several Bollywood stars like Dia Mirza, Amyra Dastur, and Sophie Choudry. Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, Bettina Anderson, were also in attendance.

The controversial media personality has often raised eyebrows with some of her remarks, including when she said that convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was “not a pedophile.”

In the November 12 episode of her show, she appeared to question the definition of a pedophile as she discussed the House Oversight Committee’s disclosure of several emails Epstein sent.

She acknowledged that the disgraced financier liked to prey on younger girls, telling guest Batya Ungar-Sargon that he “did like them young, and there were several young women who he did this to who were minors, who were underage. There’s just no question about that.”

The journalist went further to explain that she knew “somebody very, very close” to the Epstein case “who is in a position to know virtually everything,” adding that the unnamed individual told her from the start “that Jeffrey Epstein, in this person’s view, was not a pedophile.”

After going on a lengthy chat with her guests, she added that they’re “yet to see anybody come forward and say, ‘I was under 10, I was under 14 when I first came within his purview.'”

“You can say that’s a distinction without a difference. I think there is a difference. There’s a difference between a 15-year-old and a 5-year-old, you know?” Kelly added.

Kelly’s comments about Epstein not being a “pedophile” drew severe backlash, with many notable figures condemning the journalist for her remarks.

Amongst them was actress Christina Ricci, who branded Kelly “a danger to children.”

Another star, Cynthia Nixon, also called out the journalist, saying, “Megyn Kelly, I have a question for you, from one mother to another.”

“If Jeffrey Epstein were still alive, would you be comfortable with your teenage daughter being alone with him in his mansion? […] And please, don’t say 15 is barely legal. It is 100% illegal, and you know that,” Nixon added.
