Over this past month, the world has been following updates in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie. Through it all, many sources have shared updates and details about the story. Recently, Fox News alum Megyn Kelly weighed in on the story. In particular, she and a guest had questions concerning the Guthrie family.
Megyn Kelly Discussed The Story On Her Show With Comedian Zack Peter
Nancy Guthrie is the mother of Today co-host Savannah Guthrie. Earlier this month, she had been reported missing from her Arizona home.
While several developments have been made in the case, no suspects have currently been identified. During this time, Savannah has been absent from the show as the search for her mother continues.
During a recent episode of her podcast, Megyn Kelly spoke about the Guthrie case with comedian Zack Peter. During the conversation, Peter highlighted how “very, very little” people have seen of the family during this time.
The comedian noted that this made him wonder what was going on with Nancy’s loved ones during this time. Peter continued, “There’s no press conferences; we’re not seeing them out searching for their mother…I’m trying not to judge them. But like every day, I’m getting more and more curious about what’s really going on.”
Kelly Felt Her Guest Raised A Good Point About The Case
Kelly felt that Peter made a good point, noting, “We have seen so little of the Guthries. We haven’t even seen them out, you know, joining in a search, or like helping with the grid pattern where they walk the grounds.”

Kelly also claimed that the family has not yet offered a prayer vigil in honor of Nancy. As previously reported, during a recent episode of Today, Jenna Bush Hager, sharing that she attended the same church as Savannah, invited viewers to attend a vigil in Nancy’s honor at the church.
At the time, Jenna claimed that Savannah “wants all of us to continue to pray.” The service was also available online for those who could not attend in person.

Kelly continued, feeling it was unusual that the public wasn’t getting everyday updates from the Guthrie family, which she felt could help put “pressure” on the story. She shared, “It’s just like every once in a while they drop like a 30-second video being like, ‘If you have our mom, please return her.’ It is a little odd.”
As previously reported, Kelly has often weighed in on Guthrie’s disappearance over the past month. She has also defended influencers and podcasters who have been helping to cover the story.
