Mia Goth has been attracting plenty of attention lately, and it’s easy to see why. The Frankenstein star has been opening up about her experience working on Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic The Odyssey, describing it as one of the most meaningful projects of her career. Goth has said that filming the movie was a “profound” experience and called working with Nolan “one of the greatest experiences of my life.”
She explained that she has long admired Nolan’s films, so being able to collaborate with him felt especially surreal. Watching his process up close and seeing how he works with actors left a strong impression on her. Goth has spoken about how much she appreciated the trust Nolan places in his cast, allowing them the space to fully explore their performances. While details about her character remain under wraps, it’s clear the project had a lasting impact on her both personally and creatively.
The Odyssey is already shaping up to be one of the most ambitious films of Nolan’s career. Based on Homer’s ancient epic, the film follows Odysseus’ long and dangerous journey home after the Trojan War. The movie boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson and Charlize Theron. Shot largely on IMAX film, the production reportedly involved demanding location shoots, including time spent filming at sea, as Nolan aimed to bring the scale and intensity of the myth to the big screen.
Beyond The Odyssey, Goth has also been keeping busy with other high-profile projects. She recently wrapped work on Star Wars: Starfighter, directed by Shawn Levy, and has described the experience as the most fun she’s ever had on a film set. With multiple major releases on the horizon, Goth’s career continues to gain momentum, cementing her status as one of Hollywood’s most compelling performers.
