It seems everyone has a podcast these days, including former First Lady Michelle Obama. She launched IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson in 2025. IMO is internet slang for ‘In My Opinion,” and Craig Robinson is her brother.
The podcast explores her life now and often features celebrity guests. The former first lady recently made headlines when she opened up about her friendship with director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, after their shocking murder.
On a lighter note, Michelle Obama welcomed a beloved TV icon to the podcast this week and couldn’t stop gushing over how “sexy” he was.

“Let me tell you who the Fonz was, at least to me,” Michelle Obama said to actor Henry Winkler. “First of all, sexy,” she added. Henry Winkler famously played Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli on the sitcom Happy Days. The series ran for eleven seasons and was set in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Some of the seasons are currently streaming on Paramount+.

The actor, now 80, has been in dozens of movies and TV shows since then, but for many, he’ll always be Fonzie. “At that age — and I can’t do the math but I was young — I saw on the screen the coolest [guy],” Michelle Obama said about the bad boy with a good heart character.
She continued, “Think an even cooler version of John Travolta. Thick, black, luscious Italian hair slicked back. The Fonz is on his bike, black leather jacket, T-shirt underneath. Cool,” The former First Lady said Fonzie “did something” to her.
“It was sexy, cool, good-hearted tough guy. And loyal,” the former First Lady said about the character. Henry Winkler was flattered by the compliments. “I’m a human being on this Earth. I’m an American. I’ve watched you over all of these years be this powerful presence in the universe,” he told her.
