Miley Cyrus & Fiancé Will Celebrate Wedding ‘In Their Own Way’

Newly engaged Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando are preparing to say “I do,” but the way they plan to celebrate their union may catch fans off guard.

Following her 2019 split from Liam Hemsworth, the “Flowers” hitmaker began a fresh chapter with the Lily drummer. Now, four years into their relationship, the couple is moving toward marriage, though insiders say their wedding will stray far from tradition.

As Miley turns her focus to the future, renewed attention has also fallen on past legal claims from a woman who alleges she is the singer’s biological mother.

Sources have shed light on what the couple may have planned for their nuptials, and it likely would be different from the typical Hollywood ceremony.

“Miley is really happy right now and in such a good, calm place,” an insider told Us Weekly. “She’s not super into the idea of doing another wedding.”

Rather than a traditional event, the couple is expected to “celebrate in their own way” by doing “something fun and meaningful that feels very special to them.”

According to the insider, the “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker is prioritizing love over spectacle, focusing more on what truly matters to her.

“They’ve talked about eloping and doing something very private, just the two of them,” the insider revealed, noting that Cyrus is enjoying being a fiancée and isn’t rushing to plan anything.

Reflecting on her past marriage to Hemsworth, which was also low-key, the source said that Cyrus has little interest in stepping into the role of a “bride” again.

“Miley loves that this chapter of her life has been more private,” the insider added. 

Cyrus and Morando have kept their romance largely out of the spotlight, and even their engagement was initially private.

Speculation about their relationship status grew after the couple appeared together on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of “Avatar: Fire and Ash” on December 1.

Confirmation soon followed when Morando’s father shared photos believed to be from Cyrus’s 33rd birthday celebration. According to The Blast, the images showed the pop star posing with Morando while proudly displaying a sparkling ring on her left hand.

In his caption, the drummer’s dad congratulated the lovebirds and tagged them, adding emojis of a heart, a diamond ring, and a champagne bottle.

Unsurprisingly, the gem on Cyrus’ finger caught attention and quickly became the center of discussion among jewelry professionals.

As The Blast previously reported, jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche, detailed that the ring is a custom piece featuring a cushion-cut diamond set on a bold 14-karat gold band.

However, the value has become a hot topic for professionals, with estimates ranging widely, depending on the stone’s quality and origin.

While Blue Nile’s Daniela Tarantino suggested the ring could be worth between $300,000 and $450,000, Reyne Hirsch placed its retail value closer to $150,000-$250,000.

Kristy Cullinane, co-founder of Plum Diamonds, added that the price could vary even further. She noted the stone appears to be 4-5 carats and explained that a mined diamond could push the value above $200,000.

Cyrus’ announcement sparked countless reactions, including a heartfelt tribute from her father, Billy Ray Cyrus.

Per The Blast, the country star took to social media to share a throwback photo of a young Miley smiling between him and her godmother, Dolly Parton.

In his caption, Billy Ray praised Parton’s influence in Miley’s life, writing: “No wonder you turned out so special… You have the greatest Godmother in the world!!!”

He continued, “So happy you and Maxx Agazillion found each other!!!! Congratulations! Happy to see you both so happy!!! Love, Dad.”

The post drew warm responses from fans, who flooded the comments with heart emojis and congratulatory notes for the couple.

Amid Miley’s celebratory news, shocking claims have resurfaced from an Arizona woman named Jayme Lee, who alleges she is the singer’s biological mother. 

According to The Blast, Lee stated in her filings that she gave birth to Miley in 1992 and later entered into a “private adoption agreement” with Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus. She claimed she was given certain rights, including choosing Miley’s name and working as her nanny and piano teacher. 

She further accused Billy Ray of “wrongfully assuming the role” of Miley’s father without her consent and “misrepresenting the circumstances” of the alleged adoption, which she says caused her severe emotional distress.
