Nicole Kidman And Keith Urban’s Divorce Faces New Twist

Nicole Kidman was blindsided by Keith Urban‘s decision to end their marriage, but the actress is said to be open to giving their relationship another chance.

She is reportedly willing to reconcile as long as the singer hasn’t fully moved on, despite ongoing rumors about a new woman in his life. Since the split, Kidman has made several public appearances, but reports suggest she remains privately devastated over the situation.

Details of the divorce proceedings are still unclear, but previous reports revealed that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have agreed to a co-parenting arrangement for their two daughters, Sunday and Faith.

Kidman and Urban’s divorce came as a surprise to many who had followed their marriage for years, but it was the actress herself who appeared to be the most shocked.

According to a source who spoke with TMZ, the couple had been struggling with some marital issues and were reportedly working on “getting it back together” until Urban unexpectedly decided to call it quits.

The insider claimed that Kidman was left completely “blindsided” by the decision, which brought an end to their nearly two-decade-long marriage that produced two daughters, Sunday and Faith.

Now, although Kidman was the one who filed for divorce, she is reportedly still open to reconciling with Urban if the singer is willing to give their relationship another chance.

“She would get back with him in a heartbeat,” a source told the Daily Mail about the “Eyes Wide Shut” star.

Following Kidman and Urban’s split, the actress has made a number of public appearances that seem to suggest she’s handling the divorce gracefully.

On October 4, she attended amfAR’s Dallas auction in Texas, where she took the stage to present her “Lioness” collaborator, Taylor Sheridan, with the night’s Award of Inspiration.

Two days later, she traveled to Paris for Fashion Week, accompanied by her daughters.

Kidman has also returned to social media, most recently sharing a photo of herself wearing a black shirt featuring an image from Gus Van Sant’s film “To Die For,” in celebration of its 30th anniversary.

Despite these displays, Kidman is said to be “devastated” about her marriage behind the scenes.

Her loved ones now reportedly fear that Urban may soon go public with a new woman amid ongoing rumors that someone else is already in the picture.

If this happens, they believe Kidman would be affected even more.

“That would be a worst-case scenario for her,” said the insider about the “Babygirl” star.

Prior to the divorce news, Kidman had seemingly hinted at her marital troubles in an interview.

The journalist added that she chose not to push the actress on such a personal topic but did share that Kidman gave a surprising response when asked how she feels now, in her fifties.

According to Stevenson, she had anticipated a thoughtful remark about the “sagacity of age,” but instead, Kidman’s reply struck her as “wry, rueful, and unsure of herself.”

“How many times do you have to be taught that you think you know where your life is going and then it isn’t going in that direction?” Kidman had replied at the time.

In a new series that aired on Sunday, Urban also appeared to hint at his marital troubles. One of the scenes featured the singer taking to the stage to perform his track, “Straight Line.”

“Why we livin’ every day in circles? Just burnin’ out, burnin’ out,” Urban is seen singing, per the Daily Mail. “I don’t wanna just go through the motions. Goin’ round and round. It’s takin’ us down.”

The track dropped earlier in the year, and Urban promoted it with a post that now appears to be more than just a mere description of the song.

“Straight Line is wanting to break out of a soul-sucking routine that you might be stuck in,” Urban told his Instagram followers in February.

He added, “Maybe in a relationship, a job, with creativity, with yourself…whatever it is!! It’s a message of feeling alive again and getting out from under that dark cloud.”
