Nintendo has announced a bunch of deals and other promotions to celebrate Mario Day this year.
As always, it officially takes place on March 10 (MAR10), with Nintendo’s celebrations taking place in the surrounding days. Notably, this year’s Mario Day also coincides with the 40th anniversary of Mario. To commemorate all of that, Nintendo is running all kinds of following sales, promos and events, including:
Deals
- Save $25 on Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, Super Mario Odyssey, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV and Mario vs. Donkey Kong (various retailers)
- Save $25 on Samsung microSD Express Card – 256GB for Nintendo Switch 2 (various retailers)
- Save $30 on Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Mario & Luigi: Brothership (various retailers)

Between March 5 and 31, you can also get an exclusive wristband at EB Games with the purchase of any Switch or Switch 2 game featuring Mario.
Games and apps
Nintendo Switch Online members who play Mario Kart World can take part in a weekly series of online races and earn 310 My Nintendo Platinum Points just by participating. A free seven-day trial of Switch Online is also available, even if you’ve claimed this offer before. The Nintendo Today! app will also have little celebrations and artwork.
Pop-ups/activations
To celebrate the release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie on April 1, Nintendo is bringing Switch 2 demo booths to selects Cineplex stores in Ontario and B.C. between March 6 to 8 and April 3 and 4. More information is available on Nintendo’s website.
