Nintendo has announced a new Partner Direct will take place on Thursday, February 5 at 9 a.m. ET/6 a.m. PT on YouTube.
As the name suggests, this particular type of stream is focused on games from third-party developers, so don’t expect first-party titles. Nintendo says the upcoming Partner Direct will run for about 30 minutes and feature both Switch 2 and Switch games.
A new #NintendoDirect Partner Showcase livestream is on the way! Tune in tomorrow, Feb 5, at 6am PT for roughly 30 minutes of upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch games.

Notably, this is the second Nintendo Direct this year, following a brief one in January focused on The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. However, the last main Direct featuring first-party games was way back in September, so it remains to be seen when the next one will happen.
For now, at least, this Partner Direct should fill out some of the Switch 2’s 2026 calendar. In particular, there’s a lot of interest in the Switch 2 exclusive action game The Duskbloods from Elden Ring maker FromSoftware (pictured above). Hopefully, that makes an appearance during the Partner Direct, especially since it was only shown once during the big April Switch 2 reveal, and we haven’t seen it since. Other games that could potentially show up in the Partner Direct include Square Enix’s next HD-2D title, The Adventures of Elliot, Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata, and IO Interactive’s 007 First Light.
