Fans Have Seen Various Law Enforcement Figures Visit On Patrol: Live
On Patrol: Live is a reality and docuseries that premiered on Reelz back in 2022. On the show, viewers watch camera crews go on ride-alongs with various law enforcement agencies.
Over the years, various law enforcement officials have been guests on the show. Recently, news has come out concerning one guest who fans may remember visiting the On Patrol: Live studio: Sgt. Clayton Dillion.
On social media, it was shared in regard to the show, “Today will be Sgt. Clayton Dillion’s last shift from the Hazen Police Department. We enjoyed having you come into the studio to share your moments as an officer, letting us ride along with you every weekend.”
The post continued, “Thank you for your many years of dedicated service. We will miss you. Be safe in the next chapter of your life.”
Dillion himself later took to social media to share what was going on. He noted, “This is going to be a difficult post to write. Today is my last day as a full-time officer. I am medically retiring as a Sergeant from the Hazen Police Department.”
Sgt. Clayton Dillion Explained That A Few Crashes From A Few Years Prior Brought About The Decision
Dillion revealed that he was hit by a vehicle while “working a crash” back in July 2018. This broke his back in three places. In October 2022, he was involved with another crash, which left him with “a broken right leg, a skull fracture with close to 20 brain bleeds, and a severe traumatic brain injury.”
Dillion continued, “I’ve been trying to fight through the long road of recovery. I’ve dedicated many years of my life to this job, and this department will always hold a special place in my heart.” He also wanted to say “thank you and I’m sorry” to all of his supporters.

The post continued, “Chief and I have shared many tears over this, but it’s time. I’ll still be traveling with Chief and doing speaking engagements about mental health. I have found other ways to help people and it’s powerful.” Dillion concluded things, writing, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone that ever gave me a shot and believed in me.”
