Popular Reality Star ‘Terrified’ After Health Results Reveal Cancer Scare

A popular reality star from MTV’s “Jersey Shore” recently shared a distressing health update after undergoing an “uncomfortable” colposcopy and biopsy.

In her latest TikTok upload, Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi got real about her health journey, hoping to find other women who have faced similar challenges.

Snooki, an OG cast member of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” since the first season in 2009, shared an emotional video on TikTok, discussing abnormal pap smear results that led to her undergoing an “uncomfortable” medical procedure.

In her video, Snooki shared that her doctor called her with disappointing news after results came back, saying “he found cancerous cells on the top of my cervix.”

Furthermore, the veteran reality star confessed that she’s “terrified” after learning she’d need to have another procedure under anesthesia for more testing. “It’s scary, but we have to get it done because cervical cancer is nothing to joke about,” she said.

Elsewhere in the video, Snooki began breaking down in tears after admitting she might have to have a hysterectomy if her second procedure goes awry.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, a hysterectomy is a “surgical procedure that removes your uterus,” barring women from becoming pregnant or having a menstrual period.

While Snooki admitted she was done having kids, the thought of not being “able” to have more is frightening. She did, however, say that she’d do what she needed to keep herself safe.

Snooki revealed in her video that she shared the heartbreaking news with her followers, hoping to find other women who have dealt with something similar.

In her post, Snooki also noted that she faced some pushback from her doctors as she aged.

“The reason why my doctor’s on my a** all the time is because I waited,” she said. “I waited on my damn appointments because I knew I might not get great results but also because I didn’t want to feel the pain. I didn’t want to deal with the stress of having to deal with all of this.”

In addition to finding support from others, Snooki emphasized that spreading awareness was also one of her primary goals.

“Just making this video to spread awareness to make sure you get your pap smears. And if your doctor calls you to do it again, do it,” she said. “Make sure you’re fine and prevent all the bad things that could happen, like cervical cancer.”

“Being a woman is not easy and this is definitely a scary thing. I know I’m going to be fine,” she added. “It’s just scary.”

Snooki isn’t the only veteran reality star hoping to spread critical information in January 2026.

According to The Blast, “Real Housewives of New York” alum Bethenny Frankel recently announced that she was diagnosed with stage 2 chronic kidney disease.

In her TikTok, the Bravo OG shared her medical announcement with her followers, hoping to encourage them to take their health seriously.

The SkinnyGirl founder said that she’d been focusing on her blood tests, bone density, and other metrics when she learned her “kidney function was coming up low.”

Frankel explained that her kidney disease could be autoimmune or could have been caused by a “traumatic” experience she had years ago from a severe allergic attack.

Elaborating, Frankel stated that her disease has likely caused complications in the past, revealing she used to get “UTIs.”

Frankel’s doctor also instructed the reality star to stay hydrated and cut out certain items, including ibuprofen, Aleve or Advil, and ice cream.

By the end of her video, Frankel delivered a similar message to Snooki, urging her followers to be “thorough.”

She added, “… then do the follow-ups for anything that seems like an outlier. And frankly, get your bloodwork done maybe six months and then six months later, because different stuff could come up and sometimes it’s an aberration and sometimes it means something.”

“In this case, it was a pattern,” she continued before sharing she hopes to find answers from others online. “I don’t know exactly what it means. Many of you will, which is also why I’m sharing with you.”
