Porsha Williams Cleared Of Wrongdoing Following Dramatic Airport Incident

It’s a holiday miracle for “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams.

After reports surfaced suggesting the reality star might have been involved in a physical altercation with a passenger on a Delta Airlines flight in November 2025, law enforcement officials announced that Williams will not face any charges.

The interaction between Porsha Williams and another passenger occurred as the “Traitors” star was headed back to Atlanta, Georgia, from BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

As previously reported by The Blast, Williams was involved in a situation on a Delta Airlines flight while traveling from Las Vegas back to Atlanta.

Initial reports indicated that the airline’s cabin crew spoke with both Williams and the other passenger during the flight, but police questioned both upon landing.

A spokesperson from FBI Atlanta confirmed they were looking into the incident to see “whether any federal charges” were applicable in this situation.

“Ms. Williams was verbally assaulted by an irate and unhinged passenger without provocation,” a statement from Williams’ reps read. “The passenger then proceeded to make false allegations that were in direct conflict with observations from several eyewitnesses.”

Following their investigation, FBI Atlanta announced they were officially closing the case with no charges brought against Williams.

Joe Habachy, the reality star’s lawyer, told PEOPLE that the FBI decided it would “not pursue any further investigative actions regarding this matter.”

“Sadly, nothing can undo the unfortunate and damaging press frenzy that ensued as a result of these false allegations with many headlines that were downright defamatory,” Habachy added. “At a minimum, Ms. Williams is owed apologies by this passenger and by every publication that furthered the unsubstantiated storyline at Ms. Williams’ expense.”

Body camera footage of Williams and the unnamed passenger speaking with airport law enforcement officers was released following news of the altercation.

As Williams explained the situation to one of the officers, a witness interrupted the conversation to ask whether the mother of one was physically OK, later calling the other passenger’s behavior “reprehensible.”

“The woman got in your face and gave you the middle finger, and was doing things that were completely chaotic to you,” the witness said on camera.

Another witness also jumped into the conversation to defend Williams, insisting that nothing physical ever happened.

“The only physical thing [Williams] did was point at her. And it was for some reason that just escalated to this point, where all [Williams] was saying was, ‘Don’t talk to me like that,'” they shared.

During her interview with airport police, the other passenger expressed concern that Williams would have her “killed.”

The news that Williams will not face any federal charges was likely a huge relief for the “Real Housewives” star, given her previous run-ins with the law.

Following her first season on “RHOA,” Williams was arrested and charged with battery after physically assaulting her co-star, Kenya Moore.

After that, she was arrested for speeding and driving on a suspended license.

Years later, in 2020, Williams was arrested in Kentucky during a protest on the lawn of Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, whom protesters were urging to bring charges against the Kentucky police officers involved in the fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor.

Williams isn’t the only Bravo star to have a recent run-in with police at Atlanta International Airport.

According to The Blast, “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Mia Thornton was arrested by airport police in November 2025 and charged with larceny.

Legal documents accuse the reality star and a man named Jared McGriff of “suddenly” moving out of their Atlanta condo and allegedly stealing $11,000 worth of furniture and electronics.

Before that, Thornton and McGriff were sued by their condo’s property management company, Encore Management, over unpaid rent totaling more than $5,000.

In the lawsuit, the company requested Thornton and McGriff pay the unpaid rent, plus an additional $6,085 for every month thereafter, and $700 in fees.

While Thornton hasn’t released any personal statements about her legal woes just yet, she admitted in the officer’s bodycam footage that she knew about her warrant. She even mentioned calling an unnamed individual to move furniture from a storage unit back to the condo.
