Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams was recently seen exiting a plane with police this past Sunday. Reportedly, the incident is already under an FBI investigation. Since then, representatives for the FBI and the airline have shared some information on what happened. Porsha’s lawyer has also since spoken out about the situation.
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta Star Was In Las Vegas For BravoCon
Porsha is best known to reality show fans through The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She originally appeared on the show from 2012 to 2021.
In addition, Porsha was the star of her own spin-off, Porsha’s Family Matters. She has also served as a co-host for Dish Nation and Bravo’s Chat Room.
The Housewives star reportedly exited a Delta Airlines flight while accompanied by police on Sunday, November 16. She could be seen walking out of the gate with an officer, with whom she briefly spoke after leaving the plane.
According to TMZ, the Federal Bureau of Investigation of Atlanta is investigating the incident. Speaking with the outlet, a spokesperson shared, “FBI Atlanta is aware of an incident on a Delta flight on November 16th, allegedly involving Porsha Williams and/or at least one other person. We are looking to see whether any federal charges may or may not apply.”
Porsha had previously spent the weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada, at BravoCon. Together with other Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members, she took part in panels and posed for photos.
Porsha Williams’ Lawyer Also Released A Statement Following The Incident
A Delta rep also confirmed that two passengers were involved in the incident. The flight continued and landed in Atlanta as scheduled. However, the nature of the incident was said to be unknown at this time.
In a later update, the star’s lawyer, Joe Habachy, has also released a statement concerning the incident. It was claimed that Porsha had been “verbally assaulted by an irate and unhinged passenger without provocation.”

Speaking with People, Habachy continued, “The passenger then proceeded to make false allegations that were in direct conflict with observations from several eyewitnesses. As with any incident occurring aboard an aircraft, federal authorities are required to conduct an investigation involving all parties to determine what, if any, offenses occurred.”
The lawyer also noted that his client “has every intention of cooperating with law enforcement to whatever extent necessary. And remains confident that the passenger will be charged.”
