Pregnant Cardi B’s Boyfriend Dealing With A Paternity Dispute

Pregnant Cardi B‘s bun is not out of the oven, and her soon-to-be baby daddy is already proving to be a drama-filled relationship.

Stefon Diggs was dragged to court by a social media influencer who claimed he is the one who fathered her infant child, although the facts are yet to be officially ascertained.

Cardi B and her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, are expecting their first child together, as the rapper confirmed rumors about her bulging belly in an interview with Gayle King.

The model, named Aileen Lopera, who goes by the username Lord Giselle on her social media handles, stressed in court documents that the NFL player is her daughter’s father.

She filed a petition to determine parental relationship in Los Angeles County last December, where she identified the athlete as her child’s parent. Diggs responded to the filing in July and expressed his doubts over the genuineness of Lopera’s claim that he was the father of the baby girl born in April. 

To bring everyone out of this misery, Diggs requested that the court order genetic testing. A judge has since signed off on the order that required both Lopera and Diggs to participate in the process.

For now, TMZ reports that nothing is known about the status of the result or if both individuals had taken any tests. Lopera’s legal camp has expressed their desire to see the professional footballer finally take responsibility for the baby and acknowledge her existence in Los Angeles.

Four months after they went public at the New York Knicks game, Cardi finally confirmed what the spectators had been noticing- there is a bun in her oven.

E! Online stated that the rapper calmly disclosed this great news during her interview on CBS Mornings and added that her due date is not exactly far from when her Little Miss Tour starts in February.

The mother-of-three, who is now expecting her fourth little one, praised her own hard work while she is literally carrying a new life inside her. However, there is another powerful force in the picture who has made every step worth it and the whole journey easier, and it is no other than her boyfriend.

“Me and my man are very supportive of each other. We like in the same space in our careers. You know what it is that I feel like we’re really great, we’re really the best at what we do,” the rapper shared.

She added that Digg makes her feel very safe and confident, like she could take over the world at any instant.

The media personality continued in her interview that she developed cold feet about two weeks ago, as she was unsure if people would like her music. As The Blast noted, the last time Cardi released an album was her debut Grammy-winning album “Invasion of Privacy” in 2018.

The critically acclaimed album earned a top spot in the industry as one of the most talented female rappers of the century. Since then, she has released several singles, which have been received with mixed reactions from fans.

Cardi affirmed that her insecurities stemmed from the mean comments that trailed some of her musical projects, but her boyfriend helped her regain her lost confidence.

On falling in love again, the songwriter admitted that she was also very hesitant due to her bad experiences with Offset, withwhom she was married and shared three kids with. However, her boyfriend came waving a white flag and hands ready to mend a broken heart.

Speaking of the harsh comments, they came pouring down again yesterday as soon as she confirmed the news. Numerous fans expressed disappointment at the rapper’s decision to expand her family just as her career was about to take a new dimension.

Some fans questioned why she would choose to carry a child for a man like Diggs, who has a questionable and very controversial track record with baby mamas and children out of wedlock. Cardi was also knocked for life as a baby mama after she lost the “wife” status a few months ago.

Another commenter suggested that she was probably seeing the footballer while she was actively in a marriage with Offset and pregnant with her third child, Blossom. The rapper’s taste in men also came under question as Diggs was regarded as beneath her and too dusty for her iconic life.

The fashion icon left the court premises for her now-concluded assault case and was received by a sea of news reporters who asked several questions, including news of her bump.

Cardi responded to the paparazzi by throwing a pen at them, deeming the question disrespectful and unwarranted since the female reporters were not asking her such invasive questions. She urged the reporter to learn his manners and, most importantly, respect women by staying out of their personal business.

In the courtroom, Cardi was questioned by lawyers for her conduct during an alleged assault she unleashed on a security guard back in 2018. The security guard, Emani Ellis, accused Cardi of physically attacking her during a visit to the obstetrician while she was pregnant with her baby, Kulture, in 2018.

Cardi denied her involvement in any assault but claimed she and Ellis did trade words back then, and she called her a “b-tch.”

Hopefully, Stefon Diggs and his alleged baby mama clear out this gray area once and for all.
