    Nottingham Forest team vs Spurs

Forest rotated again after making nine changes for the 2-1 win at Utrecht in the Europa League on Thursday, when Igor Jesus struck the 88th-minute winner.

Defenders Oleksandr Zinchenko and Murillo returned from injury for that game, as did midfielder Douglas Luiz, who played the first half.

This time they made eight alterations, introducing Nicolo Savona, Nikola Milenkovic, Neco Williams, Igor Jesus, Ibrahim Sangare, Morgan Gibbs-White, Elliot Anderson and Omari Hutchinson.

Goalkeeper Matz Sels had been ever-present in this season’s Premier League but did not travel to Utrecht as a precaution over a groin issue and was out again, so John Victor kept his place.

Captain Ryan Yates had a potentially long-term hamstring injury. Forward Chris Wood (knee), full-back Ola Aina (hamstring) and striker Taiwo Awoniyi were still injured, but goalkeeper Angus Gunn returned from a knee issue on the bench.

Nottingham Forest starting XI: John Victor, Nicolo Savona, Nikola Milenkovic, Murillo, Neco Williams, Omari Hutchinson, Elliot Anderson, Morgan Gibbs-White, Ibrahim Sangare, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Igor Jesus

Forest substitutes: Angus Gunn, Morato, Douglas Luiz, Dan Ndoye, Arnaud Kalimuendo, James McAtee, Dilane Bakwa, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Zach Abbott

    Tottenham starting lineup vs Forest

Rodrigo Bentancur and Randal Kolo Muani started for Spurs, replacing Joao Palhinha and Wilson Odobert.

Brennan Johnson returned from injury on the bench but fellow forward Dominic Solanke was not ready yet despite an Instagram post by the 28-year-old hinting that he is closing in on a comeback.

Defenders Destiny Udogie and Kota Takai (both hamstring) and centre-back Radu Dragusin (knee) remained out, as did midfielders James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski with knee injuries.

Yves Bissouma had been absent because of an internal disciplinary matter.

Victory for Spurs would move the visitors seventh, having won successive games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium by beating Brentford 2-0 on December 6 and Slavia Prague 3-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Tottenham starting XI: Guglielmo Vicario, Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Djed Spence, Mohammed Kudus, Rodrigo Bentancur, Xavi Simons, Archie Gray, Randal Kolo Muani, Richarlison

Spurs substitutes: Antonin Kinsky, Kevin Danso, Joao Palhinha, Mathys Tel, Lucas Bergvall, Brennan Johnson, Wilson Odobert, Pape Matar Sarr, Ben Davies
