President Donald Trump has addressed a number of figures on social media throughout his second presidency. Recently, he discussed a figure who is known for discussing him: New York Times journalist Maggie Haberman. He also highlighted an ongoing legal battle he is involved in.
Maggie Haberman Published A Book On Trump In 2022 (& Another One Is Said To Be In The Works)
Haberman is known to many as a White House correspondent for The New York Times and a CNN political analyst. In addition to this, she has worked for The New York Post, the New York Daily News, and Politico.
Haberman has become known for discussing President Donald Trump throughout his political career, even during his campaign for his first presidency. In 2022, she also published Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America. Her coverage of Trump’s advisers also helped her and her colleagues earn a Pulitzer Prize in 2018.
Recently, President Donald Trump addressed Haberman by name in a recent Truth Social post, a social media platform he helped co-found. During the share, he accused the reporter of publishing false stories about him. He even suggested that she could be subject to upcoming legal action.
In his share, Trump also addressed the journalist with an insulting nickname, writing, “Maggot Hagerman, just another SLEAZEBAG writer for The Failing New York Times, insists on writing false stories about me, even though she fully knows and understands that the exact opposite of anything she says is usually the truth.”
President Trump Also Discussed A Florida-Based Lawsuit During The Post
The president is currently involved in an ongoing legal dispute with the publication. During the share, he hinted that Haberman could soon be involved.
Trump wrote, “In any event, I’m thinking of adding Maggot, and some of her ‘associates,’ into my Florida-based Lawsuit against The Times, which, very happily, seems to be proceeding nicely. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DJT.”

Meanwhile, as noted by Radar Online, Haberman and her New York Times colleague Jonathan Swan are said to be working on another Trump-related book. However, as the outlet noted, the exact reason for Trump’s recent post was unclear. Haberman’s most recent article about the president was published over a week prior. At the time, it covered the firing of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. Earlier this month, Haberman also appeared on CBB to discuss the Trump administration’s recent handling of the conflict in Iran.

As the outlet noted, Trump has criticized a number of reporters in recent months. As previously reported, he was critical of Kaitlan Collins during an Oval Office exchange earlier this year, calling her “stupid” and “nasty.”
