‘RHOA’ Porsha Williams Comes Out About Dating A Woman

Porsha Williams is still open to finding love again, but this time, with a woman. 

The American TV personality recently revealed that she is dating two people, one of whom is a woman, and she is happy about it. 

Williams got married to Simon Guobadia in 2022, and the two went through a widely publicized divorce before finally parting ways in 2025. 

Williams made an appearance at New York City’s CultureCon over the weekend. During the event, she opened up about dating both men and women. 

“Of the people I am talking to now … he is nice, and she is nice,” she said, as seen in an Instagram video shared by a fan. The 44-year-old celebrity’s revelation was met with gasps from the audience, with one attendee telling her she was “bold.”

She went on to reveal that she wanted to make sure her new love interests were “normal people” and not “narcissists.” 

“And guess what narcissists do? They love bomb you; they do everything to look perfect. They mirror you,” she said, per Page Six.

Williams compared her current dating life to her past, noting that she is now being challenged to be a better person because if she wants something different, she also has to do things differently. She also explained that her new partners don’t love-bomb her, but instead question her actions all the time and don’t let her “walk over them.” 

“I have to soften up a bit,” she acknowledged. “I have to not expect a whole lot of elaborate things … I have to expect someone to call me out from time to time.”

Williams’ statements came over a month after it was revealed that she asked the court to hold her former lover in contempt for not paying her bills. 

According to legal documents obtained, Williams claimed that Guobadia owed her several payments, including property taxes, alimony payments, and attorney fees, totaling $667,359.55, as reported by The Blast.

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star told the judge that her ex-husband was intentionally refusing to pay what was due as an act of disregard for the court’s authority. 

Williams’ motion was filed months after Goubadia opened up about his former marriage, saying that he was “blindsided” by his ex-wife’s decision to part ways. 

The businessman reflected on his whirlwind romance with the actress, noting that getting engaged to her in 30 days was a red flag.  

“I was out of my godd-mn mind to have done that. Of course, I’m paying dearly for it,” he said.  Goubadia also claimed that his ex-wife targeted him when he was most vulnerable and took advantage of him. 

Still speaking on his failed marriage to Williams, Goubadia said that their 14-month-old marriage was a “coup” because he was targeted for his wealth. 

“I think I was targeted. I was targeted from day one for financial reasons. When I filed for divorce from my previous ex-wife [Williams] was in my DM, praying for me.”

Goubadia recalled how Williams got close to him when he got divorced from her fellow “RHOA” alum, Falynn, explaining that he entertained the attention she gave him and “it just kind of snowballed from there.” 

As reported by The Blast, following the divorce, Williams walked away with $560,000 in alimony payments and the home she once shared with Goubadia in Atlanta. 

As messy as her divorce was from Goubadia, Williams is no stranger to painful breakups.

According to Bravo TV, the singer was once engaged to Dennis McKinley, also known as the “Hot Dog King,” in 2018. They welcomed a daughter the following year but parted ways shortly after she was born amid rumors of infidelity on McKinley’s side.

Before that, Williams was married to Kordell Stewart, a former NFL football player. They tied the knot in 2011 and parted ways when the football quarterback filed for divorce in March 2013. 

After her divorce from Stewart, Williams briefly dated NFL player Duke Williams, who was 10 years her junior. They got together in 2015, but parted ways after only a few months of dating.
