Brandi Glanville Has Had Health Issues For Years
Brandi Glanville helped launch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills over a decade ago. The show’s initial storyline involved Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay’s affair with Brandi Glanville’s ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian. However, she didn’t become a main cast member until Season 3. The former model was fired after Season 5, though she returned later as a “friend” of the housewives.
In 2023, she went to Morocco to film Season 4 of Bravo’s The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. The season never aired after RHONJ alum Caroline Manzo made allegations that Brandi Glanville sexually assaulted her. Brandi denies the allegations and a lawsuit filed by Caroline Manzo is ongoing.
After returning home from the trip, Brandi Glanville began suffering facial issues, including pain, tooth loss and disfigurement. She suspected that she contracted some kind of facial parasite while in Morocco. However, doctors have never been able to pinpoint the issue or resolve it. Until now.
RHOBH Star Finally Finds Answers, Undergoes Emergency Surgery
Brandi Glanville underwent emergency surgery on February 3, 2026. The procedure was documented by the National Inquirer’s newsletter, the Daily Enquirer. “I kind of put myself in this, like, three-year self-imposed prison and I started to feel like crap, and I didn’t know why,” she told the outlet about her years-long health battle.
The RHOBH star finally got answers after noticing that one of her breasts was noticeably smaller than the other. She revealed that she got the implants back in 2008 after the birth of her youngest son, Jake. She also shares another son, Mason, with her ex-husband. Brandi Glanville noted that the materials used in her breast implants are no longer used and are “illegal.”
After looking into illnesses caused by breast implants, Brandi Glanville consulted a plastic surgeon, who finally gave her answers. She got a sonogram and was told that her right implant was completely ruptured and the left one was leaking. Emergency surgery to remove the breast implants was necessary.
“I’m just scared to death. It’s something that I could die from if I hadn’t figured it out,” Brandi Glanville told the Enquirer about the issues with the breast implants and surgery.
Brandi Glanville had the emergency surgery earlier this month. She’s still healing, but hopeful that the symptoms will be resolved. Stay tuned for an update from the RHOBH alum.
